A vehicle reportedly plowed through a group of demonstrators in Minneapolis Tuesday afternoon during a march and rally in the wake of a Missouri grand jury decision not to indict a white police officer for fatally shooting a black teenager.
A solidarity rally and march for Michael Brown, who was killed by Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson, was planned Tuesday near the Minneapolis Police Departments 3rd Precinct building at E. Lake Street and Minnehaha Avenue.
A Star Tribune reporter who is at the rally says that witnesses say the vehicle started honking at protesters blocking the intersection before running down a woman around the start of the rally at 4:30 p.m.
Moments after the woman was struck, a group of demonstrators pounced on the hood of the vehicle, while others tried to free the victim. Witnesses say that the womans leg was caught under the car

A friend of mine hit a mugger with his VW bug. VW bugs are well designed for hitting thugs. The thugs roll up and over the roof. You can see them in your rear view mirror as you drive away.
Oh he’ll yeah, I would have done the same thing. Better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.
Saaayyy. . .give the police old VW bugs instead of those armored vehicles and sweep the streets clean by formation driving through the crowd of thugs. . .

What is the deal with people blocking and walking down the middle of the streets? Seems like an extremely self-injurious thing to do, and rather unintelligent.
My mom would tell stories of going down to E. Lake Street all by herself for violin lessons when she was 8. She would take the bus and even made a transfer.
Of course that was in 1925.
