Sen. John McCain is prodding one of his closest allies in the Senate to consider a run for the White House Sen. Lindsey Graham.
I think he is looking at it, and I am strongly encouraging him to take a look at it, McCain, R-Ariz., told ABC News. I know of no one who is better versed and more important on national security policy and defense than Lindsey Graham, and I dont think these challenges to our security are going away.
He is eminently qualified, McCain added.

Hopefully conservatives will then coalesce behind one candidate. God, I hope so! And keep that person safe.

The more RINOs and the fewer conservatives in the primaries, the better chance of a conservative winning.
I’d love to see Ted Cruz vs. Romney, Bush, Christie, Huckabee and Graham.
Much better than the scenario we have seen too often where too many conservatives candidates split the vote against so that the RINO gets the nomination.

Your first three picks have the unique ability to appear on TV and put hundreds of thousands of family pets into a deep sleep. Good men, and perfect right where they are, thank you, but no.
Perry? Must be something in the Texas drinking water. The guy can't talk under pressure, just like that other guy from Texas. George somebody, wasn't it?
Now among your least favorites, coupla interesting people.
Doc Carson? Great VP pick, IMNVHO.
Doc Paul? maybe something in an administration.
Krispy Kreme Christie? Fuggedabout Fatso. No doughnut in the country would be safe. I am with you there.
Jeb? Make a great ambassador to Aztlán. ¿Presidente? Yo creo que no.

Crud.
And those people did sail him right through the primaries too.

If it means him stepping down from his Senate seat and Nikki Haley choosing someone to serve in his place, then I am all for it. Where do I sign?

Every election is always touted as The Most Important Election Of Our Lifetimes.
I know this to be BS now. The most important election of our lifetimes was the 2008 Republican Primary Election.
And America failed and lost.

Martinez most likely will be VP, especially if Julian Castro is the Rats’ nominee.

Totally unrelated, but I thought you would appreciate the fact that my 'Noles-fan wife was actually rooting for Miami to beat FSU two weeks ago, and was pulling for BC last week. To top that off, she said that she will be pulling for the Gators (GASP!!) next game because she is so sick of the lawlessness that permeates FSU starting with their shoplifting, referee assaulting, rapist QB.
As a GaTech grad, I would give my left nut to see the Jackets beat the Criminoles in the ACC title game.
btw, you finally got your wish with Muschamp. Time for a new tagline. Something snazzy like 'FSU Sucks', or 'FSU Blows'.

I propose if the Gators win on Saturday we rename “Ron Zook Field” to “Will Muschamp Field.”
Of course there is a greater-than-zero chance that Will is FSU’s DC next year, as he is best pals with Jimbo.
