I'm sure that the delay was so that they could go through them and get rid of the ones that were embarrassing.

They had these emails the second they knew they’d be asked for them, no matter what anyone says.

What’s taken so long has been the combing through them all, removing the bad stuff, making sure timelines and discussions between people seem coherent and continuous.

All Kibuki theater for all us stupid, knuckle-dragging conservatives.

There will be a few that raise eyebrows (for theatric effect), but nothing will come of it. NOTHING.......

Koskinen acknowledged the existence of disaster recovery tapes but said the IRS didn’t try to retrieve Lerner’s e-mails from them because they only contained six months worth of data

6 months, 30,000 e-mails? She must get some serious spam.

Notice that the article mentions the "Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration," but no name is given?

The "Inspector General's Message to Congress" identifies him as J. Russell George. He's a black man...how long before he gets Walpined? He's clearly off the plantation.

The "Highlights" section of the Message to Congress lists "Examples of High-Profile Cases by the Office of Investigations." The five examples are shown below. Judge for yourself how these "High-Profile" cases stack up against the IRS Lerner email and Tea Party corruption.

  1. Former IRS Employee Sentenced in Identity Theft Scheme
  2. California Man Sentenced in Connection With Identity Theft Tax Scheme
  3. Individual Indicted for Threatening IRS Employee and Family Member
  4. Significant Discrepancies Exist Between Alimony Deductions Claimed by Payers and Income Reported by Recipients
  5. The IRS Awards Program Complied With Federal Regulations, but Some Employees With Conduct Issues Received Awards

>> because the process would have been extremely difficult, partly due to the amount of information on the tapes.<<

The ONLY proper answer to that is what the IRS would have said to anyone under audit: “I don’t give a damn how hard it is — produce them!”

The sad thing is that if direct involvement between Lois Lerner and the white house was discovered, and reported by the major networks, 40% of voters would still approve of Obola...

“Beginning in March 2010, the IRS more closely scrutinized certain organizations applying for tax-exempt status under sections 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) of the Internal Revenue Code by focusing on groups with certain words in their names.”

Five years later ....

Congress needs to strip Obuma of his Commander-in-chief role and send in the 101st Airborne into the IRS to arrest these traitors.

And yes, we have legal precedence to do that under the 1867-1868 Reconstruction Act.

Wow, funny what can happen when Republicans, who now can have all sorts of hearings and investigations, win an election and get ready to take over the Senate.....
