"Decoding" must mean scrubbing.
Because backup tapes are not encrypted -- or, if they are, it's a simple operation to decrypt.
All talk of "decoding" is nonsense.

One of the most intriguing is where she asks one of her employees if they want to do lunch at Red Lobster or Olive Garden. Another is one in which she asks her supervisors if their employees are starting to get excited about the upcoming tax season yet.

You only need one that says..."Dear Mr. President...Per your direction...."
Dear Valerie...would be sufficient...

power line blog: WHAT IS DOJ HIDING ABOUT ITS TARGETING OF SHARYL ATTKISSON? One reference is made to this reporter...
"The reason that this reference to Sharyl Attkisson made it into this document dump is that her name was mis-spelled (Sharryl rather than Sharyl). There are assuredly more emails about this that were searched for and deliberately withheld. They apparently did not search for this particular mis-spelling of her name."

Could it be that there are “rogue” elements in the Federal Government that are willing to do their jobs instead of protecting the White House? Let’s hope that is what led to this find.
To: Enlightened1
Of those 30k emails, 20k were ads to give you a bigger, longer lasting boner.
Most of the rest were from some guy trying to get money out of Nigeria.

All talk of "decoding" is nonsense. Exactly. Worth repeating.

it's an old trick to intentionally misspell a name in documents so when ordered to search for documents, they can truthfully say they looked for the correctly spelled name and came up empty, this time it came back to bite them in the arse
