A local Kentucky fire chief is in a whole new kind of trouble after video surfaces of him using the n-word at the scene of a traffic accident.

"We ain't taking no n-----s here," he says to a Bullitt County Sheriff's deputy at the site of a car crash involving an African-American family and a white man, according to body-cam footage obtained by WDRB-TV.

After moving to KY almost 4 years ago, I’ve noticed a lot of people doing something here that surprised me:

Meaning no disrespect to black people, when blacks come up in conversation, they are called “colored”. My pastor of my old church even mentioned that the choir from the “colored church” would be performing at our sunday evening service.

What I find comical is that it is, in my book, no different than calling them “people of color” What is the difference between a “colored shirt” and a “shirt of color”?

All that being said, the N word is meant to be derogatory.
