I am going to play devil’s advocate and say that the right or wrong, DHS is a paying customer to Drury and their employees have a duty to be discreet with paying customers. If the former Vet had a problem with Drury selling rooms to DHS, he should not take Drury’s money in the form of a paycheck to then rat out their customers. If you can’t be loyal to your employer, you shouldn’t take their money. Drury has chosen to serve DHS and their employees that serve customers have a duty to keep the customer’s business private.
There was a time - many years ago - when dozens of government vehicles in a hotel parking lot would not have aroused suspicions.
But - unfortunately - there also was a time when we could TRUST our government. A time when we had no real reasons to be suspicious and even fearful of what “they” are up to.
If the DHS was there to monitor and control the expected Ferguson uprisings; then fine. Great.
But since those vehicles were likely used TO BRING IN outside agitators and protestors to instigate the rioting and looting to come; then yeah. We have a problem with that.
Ya mean I am.
DHS has zero right to privacy. The amount of ignorance on these forums is astounding.
He only had access to the garage because of his employment.
Even if the pictures were taken “off the clock” it was an abuse of employee privilege.
when your employer colludes with fedgov to do illegal things it’s better to be a patriot and expose it. as far as I can tell he isn’t bitching and whining about it, he is just saying he got fired because of it.

We had country stars that would stay at our hotel in MT when they were playing the state fair. My staff knew in advance, but absolutely understood that they could not share that information. After they checked out, it’s okay to say yeah, Tim McGraw stayed with us, but they were not to mention it before then.
