A large study of gay brothers adds to evidence that genes influence men’s chances of being homosexual, but the results aren’t strong enough to prove it.
Some scientists believe several genes might affect sexual orientation. Researchers who led the new study of nearly 800 gay brothers say their results bolster previous evidence pointing to genes on the X chromosome.
They also found evidence of influence from a gene or genes on a different chromosome. But the study doesn’t identify which of hundreds of genes located in either place might be involved.
Smaller studies seeking genetic links to homosexuality have had mixed results.

I think many women who are lesbians have been sexually abused by men, or were hurt by a male in some fashion. For others, the women lacked love from either (or both) a mother or a father. I think they all need psychological support and counseling, rather than a new age acceptance of their homosexual behavior.
As far as effeminate boys growing up to be gay, that’s not always the case, though it certainly seems to be that way a lot lately.
I know men who as boys were thought of as sissies, but they grew up to be straight men. They maybe were artistic, so it seemed odd when young, but they are attracted to women. So the idea earlier that all “sissy” boys grow up to be homosexuals, isn’t true.
I think that many of the ones were turned out to be homosexuals had a sexual experience with an older male sometime during their youth, between the ages of 10-17, as they were developing. This caused them confusion, and without anyone to help them get over it, they succumbed to the homosexual lifestyle. In other words, someone perverted them, ie. took advantage of them during puberty.

The movie Imitation Games opens next week. It details how a true WII hero was essentially murdered by the government and country he saved. It made me furious.
The movie The Trials of Oscar Wilde with Peter Finch was also a great movie about a persecuted homosexual. I don't see what the story of Alan Turing or Oscar Wilde has to do with a world that is as pro-homo as today's world. This is just like all the movies the left keeps coming out with that show racism and lynchings in the south to fire up the black voting base. When it comes out on Blu-ray, maybe they'll issue The Imitation Game as a two-fer with Sean Penn's Milk.
BTW, I just finished a book on the Ultra group at Bletchley Park that was deciphering the German codes in WW2. The war could not have been won without them. Or, if it had been won, it would have taken years longer.

If boys are abused by men and this makes them homosexual, shouldn’t girls abused by men be heterosexual rather than homosexual?

This subject matter is agenda driven.....I don’t think the truth is easy to ascertain frankly......being nearly 60 and being close to scores of women in mylife I don’t believe one in five women have been sexually abused

Not all boys abused by men turn homosexual, just like not all girls become lesbians. There are still other environmental factors at play. However, I do think that almost all abused children will have difficulties with relationships.
Years ago, a co-worker of mine would watch to see when I went into an empty office or room. He would follow me in and try to pin me into the corner, literally. I found him irritating, but nothing more. I didn't find it necessary to go crying to Human Resources about sexual abuse. I just told the guy, straight up, that if he didn't leave me alone I was going to kick a certain part of his anatomy into his throat.
He got the message and left me alone, and we got along just fine after that...no grudges on either side. If someone tried to convince me I was a victim of sexual abuse, I'd laugh.
I took an admittedly quick look through your links. Even they say girls are abused more often than boys. The Catholic Church is obviously a different story.
I agree with you, but we are in the minority here.
Of all the hetero relationships I have known, maybe 5% have stood the test of time and were happy.
I am against the homosexual agenda, but their relationships seem to differ little from heteros in terms of success.

Many psychologists have stated that the *first* sexual experience determines the orientation because there will be embedded pleasures in the act which are very powerful and the victim will want it repeated (the pleasure)—even if there is pain and it was a violent act. The homosexual priests who couldn’t stay away from the boys admitted that they were molested as boys.
Children can be emasculated or belittled by the adults in their life, which also will warp their desires. They will learn to not love women or men-—and will emulate what they are shown/how they are treated—in dehumanizing ways. It will deformed self identities and how they “see” others because they have warped souls and no self-love since they feel worthless without the love of their mother or father. They will seek the love they were denied-—and if it was the fathers love, (for boys), that unfulfilled desire to be close to a male will take the form of homosexuality. Girls unloved by fathers will seek father-figures in marriage.
Children normally prefer same sex friends in Latency which is essential for understanding themselves before they can mature and prefer the “Other”—true diversity. If they are told about homosexuality (perversity) at this age, they will “know” that they are homosexual, which will influence their Worldview like the harem boys of Afghanistan, because they will like the same sex (naturally) which is essential to normal sexual formation. This sexualization (all Sex Ed in schools) warps the understanding of the body, etc. in immature children.
Homosexuality is a fixation in latency (usually because of trauma) but it can be a lack of same sex friends in latency—a rejection by peers, emasculation, etc. Sex identity formation is complicated and like all formation of character or maturity—all stages should progress and mature—unless fixation happens.
Moberly writes about how neglect or abuse in even babies will determine how they “see” the person who abused or neglected them. This embedded emotion is irrational and the emotions can be elicited in adulthood-—which is irrational emotions, which can attach to persons of same sex as that parent-abuser.
Homosexuality is idolatry, immaturity—fixation in Latency and a rejection of maturity (true diversity takes maturity). Immature emotions are warped and fixated and attached to others to elevate their damaged self-esteem (the neglected or traumatized person).
That is why homosexuals are extremely immature, easily irate and angry and intolerant and hateful (lesbians are the most violent group of people on earth—next to homosexual males, who molest children at much higher rates than heterosexuals).
Homosexual cultures were the most brutal and inhumane (no care about future or women or children) in the history of mankind—like the Nazi SS, the Bolsheviks, the Samurai and the Spartans, the Afghanis-—all where pederasty was normal and rampant. Aberration of Nature dehumanizes-—removes dignity and worth and Reason from others, when you use others in inhumane (irrational and abusive) ways.
All desire is learned-—esp. unnatural desires like desiring goats, babies or boys or same sex or children....it is all habitated and learned—fixation in immature stages, and a total warping of Natural Law.
How is that even legal? Oh, that’s right, it’s not.
