Men accused of target practice inside home

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — Two men are facing charges after they were accused of target shooting in the basement of a Colorado Springs home.

Police say they responded to a 911 call reporting shots fired inside the house on Saturday. Officers say as they approached the house they heard more shots and noticed the front door was open.

I’m the same way. I live in the county. The law here is 500ft away from the dwelling... that is, the complaining dwelling.

Golly! My dad had bullet trap in our basement back in the mid-1950s and we shot .22 shorts all the time down there in an old single-shot Winchester Model .22-02 that he won as a prize out of a Cracker Jacks box way back when he was a kid. It’s where & how I learned to shoot when I was 6 years old. I’m glad we live far out in the boonies these days.

I live in the county here but in the developed part with 10 foot lot borders. I used to have a problem with squirrels getting into my attic. Began popping them off the tree with my 38, with shot shells, when my neighbor asked me if I had heard some gun fire. I said, yeah I been blasting the suckers off the trees leading to my roof. He said, can you do the same for me!
