'I'm gonna lock your ass up': Footage emerges of Ferguson cop who killed Michael Brown . . .
Daily Mail (U.K.) ^ | November 16. 2014 | Kieran Corcoran

Footage has emerged of Darren Wilson - the police officer who killed Michael Brown - threatening to arrest a man for filming him.

The video shows Wilson approaching a resident in Ferguson, Missouri, and demanding that he put away his camera. [snip]

The arrest was filmed in 2013, but was only posted online this week. It shows Wilson telling Mike Arman, a 30-year-old Ferguson resident, to put away his phone or be arrested.

Wilson, thinking he is being photographed rather than filmed, said: 'If you wanna take a picture of me one more time, I’m gonna lock your ass up.'

In response, Arman, identified by the Guardian, said: 'Sir, I’m not taking a picture, I’m recording this incident, sir.'

The clip cuts out after Wilson approaches, but an incident report which Wilson filled out after the event revealed that Arman was cuffed and taken to Ferguson police station.

There he was charged with failure to comply with Wilson, and also for breaching regulations on pit bull dogs. The charges were later dropped, Arman claims, when he showed police the video footage and proved his pet was not a pit bull.

The incident offers another insight into Wilson, whose behavior during the fatal confrontation with Brown is under intense scrutiny.

Agree. This just tells me Wilson was in the 95%.

Why is this relevant?

I would like to see the rest of the video, but what is posted here makes Officer Darren Wilson look like one of those douchbag cops who think they are our rulers, not our servants.

Okay, this is supposed to count

It depends. As it seems Wilson lied to the resident in this incident. In court or situations like the Brown incident attorneys will look to impeach a defendant. The character of a witness or defendant comes into play. The attorneys will say if the defendant lied once, they will not hesitate to lie again.

Two different incidents sure, but this certainly does not look good.

My question is, was this video used in Grand Jury to attack Wilson's character and credibility?

I have no idea if it would even be admissible.

But the fact is, this has been released and certainly does not look good and will only increase the volume of the war drums.

A professional would understand that he works FOR the public. He’d also have training and Interest in deescalating situations.

And, his shoot of Brown was still good.

It pertains to character assignation. The focus now switches to painting Officer Wilson in the worst possible light. With today's technology, expect to see a video of Officer Wilson having sex with a billy goat any day.

This is immaterial to the Brown incident. Wilson had more than enough legal reasons to tell Brown and his cohort to get out the middle of the road, and more than enough probable cause to arrest Brown once he realize Brown matched the description of the robbery suspect. It would have been an entirely lawful arrest had Brown simply cooperated.

Saw on the local NBC 11PM news last night that a video has (supposedly) surfaced showing Wilson walking out of the police station heading to the hospital on the night of the shooting.
Guess the (supposed) relevance is that ‘they’ claimed he went to the ER with a broken eye socket.

Of course, the prerequisite ‘...Brown, the unarmed Black teenager shot to death by a cop’ (they have sort of dropped the White part of the ‘report’)

Funny though when the news readers say the ‘unarmed Black teenager’ I conjure up a thought of a cop shooting a Black youth for drawing a hop scotch grid in the middle of the street.

Same as Travon was just casually strolling back from the local 7/11 without a care in the world. Even took time to tell his ‘gf’ that some fag was following him.

I remember when I laughed at folks suggesting that the video of Brown robbing the liquor store was “photoshopped”.

Now, I’m laughing AT you.

Watching that video amounted to 15 seconds that can never be recouped.

Instead of pushing back on cell phone cameras, good police departments should embrace them. A helmet-cam to record their actions would avoid situations like Ferguson. “Let’s go to the video”.

But that's all based on the officers own statements, in addition to evidence.

Again, I have no idea if this would be admissible in the Grand Jury regarding the Brown incident.

But I can tell you, if I was attempting to impeach a witness or defendant's credibility regarding their propensity to lie, I would certainly attempt to find anything I could to impeach their credibility and use it.

But the fact is, it seems Wilson lied to the resident in this video, and it has now been released. It certainly does not look good and will only increase the volume of the war drums.

It will be used by the community organizers and the CRD of the DOJ to stoke the fire of the race war.

The die has already been cast.

A video of the incident completely exonerating Officer Wilson would make no difference.

I think it’s absolutely ludicrous where some “witnesses” (read fellow thugs) say and continue to say that Officer Wilson “grabbed Michael Brown by the throat and tried to force him into the police car”. At 6 ft-plus tall, and 192 lbs, how is a police officer half Brown’s height and weight going to force him into his squad car? Remember how Brown flicked that convenience store owner aside like a fly???

Thanks. I took the laptop upstairs, away from some ambient noise downstairs. I didn't need to crank up the volume.

It's clearly there.
