Next year, 35 percent of uninsured people would rather pay the upped fine for not having health insurance than buy Obamacare coverage — up 6 points from this time last year, when the penalty was hundreds of dollars lower.
According to a Gallup poll released Thursday, 55 percent of the uninsured said they’re planning on getting coverage in 2015, but 35 percent are fine with just paying the individual mandate’s tax on going uninsured.
In November 2013, just 29 percent of the uninsured said they were willing to pay the $95 fine in 2014 for remaining uninsured. But in 2015, the uninsurance penalty jumps to $325 — and increases even more in future years.
The Obama administration is insistent that the individual mandate is a vital part of the Affordable Care Act, but widespread exemptions during Obamacare’s first year in action resulted in a very small proportion of the uninsured actually paying the tax....

Next year, ....Non-comunist ruled people will rather NOT pay the upped EXTORTION for not having health Communism than buy Extortion-Care Lobby coverage — up 6 points from this time last year, when the so called “tax” was hundreds of dollars lower.
We see the tax information of the NON-Exempt being “leaked” to the Extortion-Lobby, for the beginning of harassment, persecution, and the Arbeitsziehungslager. Probably with the access being ruled legal, by fine print Extortion-Care language.
Puerto Rico is exempt. If you can live/work from there, you don’t have to join.

As are the Philippines, I imagine, which is nicer in many ways and much cheaper. I’m exempt because I use the V.A. and I pay nothing, not one dime.

I’m not signing up and I’m not paying any fine/penalty/tax/fee/assessment/attainder or whatever they want to call it tomorrow.
But in 2015, the uninsurance penalty jumps to $325 — and increases even more in future years.
Deductables are increasing too.
One good thing is this is all on the Dems but if the GOP funds this sucker they’ll pay a deeper price.

I paid through 10 years of my blood, sweat, and putting my butt on the line for this nation. I get my “healthcare”, and I do mean it that, from the V.A. Hospital in the local area.

All I knew, as a “Rethuglican teabagger” was that a government I deemed to be venal and inefficient was attempting to take over a significant percentage of the economy in a way that touched on very personal aspects of everyone’s life. I work on the basis that EVERY government will take on as much power as it can, and WILL, sooner or later, abuse that power. This is immutable, natural law.
Calculate your taxes and make sure the money you send in or is withheld leves no “refund.” The fine can only come from the refund, for the time being at least. All it takes is the Sultan’s pen to change that, but take advantage of it while it lasts.
I am stuck on Medicare so I don't have to sign up but I have learned by this to arrange my tax payments so that I get no refund. That is where the government gets your "fine." It so far can only take your refund.
