Wait until the first student who is not of color is suspended without review by the superintendent and sues claiming unequal protection based upon race.
When laws have apply differently to people because of their race/ethnicity, isn’t it called “Jim Crow”?
All children are equal, but some children are more equal than others.
I’m betting not many of our educators have read George Orwell...it’s probably not on the NEA required reading list.

I’d be interested to know that if first time offenders “of color” are suspended at the same rate as first time white offenders for comparable offenses. Point being, I can see where the data can be skewed if that isn’t taken into account. If minorities are offending at a higher rate, then the second or third offense might lead to suspension for a relatively minor offense.
Isn’t white all the colors of the spectrum?
Okay. Expel all colored children who would normally be suspended for their insolence, but merely suspend white children. After a few months, you’ll be suspending MORE white kids than you will colored kids, and you’ll be doing this in such a way that doesn’t allow criminal thuggery to run rampant in the schools.
As we all know, the reason liberals are doing this is because they want to empower the criminal elements of society. It’s high time that liberals are treated as the criminals that they are and given treatments that Pinochet would have found appropriate.

Is anybody open to the possibility that black students misbehave at a rate ten times that of white students?
Imagine changing races... any white student cannot be expelled without review although their behavior is much worse than that of the black students.
No review is necessary for expelling black students.

I live a long way from Minnesota.
Question: How did the Minneapolis school system come to be 70% non-white? Where did all the white people suddenly go?
What is the percentage of blacks? By Hispanic,are we talking about mostly Mexicans, or are we talking about people from all over Latin America?
Many people from Latin America are classified as white. They are the descendants of Spanish conquerors and later Spanish immigrants to Latin America. You can see these people in soap operas on the Spanish-speaking cable channels.
What brings/attracts blacks and Hispanics to Minneapolis in the first place? What kind of jobs attract them to such a cold climate?
I thought that Minnesota was one of the whitest of all the states.

I have known a few teachers who have quit public schools over this very issue. It is bad news all around. Everyone gets cheated.
