Say, ain’t that a return to Jim Crow in a sense?
“I look to a day when people will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.”
- Martin Luther King, Jr.
Liberals take yet another step into a world governed by racism and away from MLK’s dream.
And how does this not violate the equal protection clause?
A clear violation of the 14th Amendment. Whites are not receiving equal protection of the laws.
The net result is that principals will be unwilling to do the paperwork to suspend black students for anything. The only way to get one out would be for the police to take them out and put them in prison.
I know of a KINDERGARTEN class in which the black kids who punch a classmate are returned to the classroom immediately, and the white kids are suspended.
Separate but unequal......................
“Disparate Impact” is one of the most dangerous concepts the racist Progressive Left has ever come up with.
A society that offers equal opportunity is free. A society that mandates equal outcomes is ultimately enslaved.
What if an Asian student merits suspension?
Would he be considered a “minority”?
Creating another protected class is the formula for more violence and civil unrest. They will naturally feel that as a protected class they deserve additional privileges.
Hey look!
Pure, instituionalized racism!
WOW!
If parents can’t afford to send their children to good private schools, they might want to consider free home schooling via the internet.

Common Core Boosts Homeschooling

Naysayers take note: Common Core has had at least one unanticipated positive outcome.
Home schooling has steadily risen in North Carolina since it was legalized in 1985 by the state Supreme Court, T. Keung Hui reported on News Observer.com on August 13, 2014. Twenty-five years ago, there were about 2,300 home-schooled students in North Carolina.
But concerns about school violence, lack of a religious focus and the large size of public schools have helped fuel home-school growth.
And home-school growth in North Carolina has surged the past two school years. There was a net gain of 7,603 home schools in the 2013-14 school year with a projected net enrollment increase of 10,194 students.
The recent growth spurt has coincided with the use of the Common Core standards in math and language arts in North Carolinas public schools. While hailed by supporters in more than 40 states as providing a more rigorous education, critics have charged that Common Core is not appropriate for some students.
Common Core is a big factor that I hear people talk about, Beth Herbert, founder of Lighthouse Christian Homeschool Ass
It is racism to expect black students to comport themselves in a civilized manner
Suddenly, old MLK doesn’t seem particularly visionary nor prophetic, and I’m longing for the 50’s.
Oh, and more than that. Central office will now have real-time data on which principals are suspending the most black students. Phone calls will be made from central office to the principals.
Given that most principals are careerists and not educators, this will have a chilling effect on any attempts to maintain order in the schools.
Prison is superintendent supervised.
From the state that sent Al Franken back to the Senate.
Nothing surprising, really.
All animals are equal.....but some animals are more equal than others.
It is right there on the barn door for all to see.
