LOS ANGELES, CaliforniaIn an exclusive interview at Breitbart News Network's headquarters, Texas Gov. Rick Perry said President Barack Obama would cement a legacy of being the worst president in American history if he moves forward on executive amnesty.
"I don't think this man wants to go down as the absolute worst president in the United States although the jury is still out on that," Perry said, adding that if Obama moves forward on executive amnesty "he will be guaranteed that slot. Because the American people will not accept an executive order that basically takes our constitution and throws it out the window. They will not accept that."
Perry, considering a repeat presidential bid in 2016, had just spoken at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library for an event celebrating the 50th anniversary of Reagan's famous "A Time For Choosing" speech. Among his scalding criticisms of Obama, Perry explained the president's failings as due to his background as a U.S. senator something that happens to apply to several of his would-be challengers for the GOP presidential nomination.

you need to try Cruz control.
After six years of former Senator Barack Hussein Øbama: NO THANKS.
ontheissues.com states Perry is a Hard Core Conservative.
I like a governor better for president than a Senator. Senators are preening peacocks, who make speeches, but don’t really lead a group of people. My first choice is Walker for president, who appoints Cruz to the Supreme Court.
Nope, Perry is a Tory Democrat, which is what he formally was until he switched parties twenty five years ago,
Meaning he’s on the Torpedo Cruz team as expected.
Oh, he owns the title hands down.
The jury is still out, however, on whether or not he WANTS to go down in HISTORY as the Worst President Ever!
(He actually has been quoted as thinking he was the 4th best, after Washington, Lincoln, and FDR. I kid you not!)
The “Justice” Department is obviously not interested in this threat.
I’m sorry what does “Even more conservative senators: Paul...” mean? Surely you don’t think Fraudboy is conservative after last year do you?
Posted to the wrong story.
It’s the man or woman, not the title
I don’t know who I would support at this time, to be honest though I know there are these that I would not vote for: Christie the loud mouth liberal jerk in NJ., Jeb, I like to increase taxes, very moderate politician and who dropped the ball (in my view), on the Terri Schiavo case as he allowed that insane so-called spouse of hers to kill his wife; as her parents wanted to care for her.
Rubio, the gang of 6’s toy boy who wants amenity. No, he’s not conservative; Romney (let your mind flow Romneycare), Romney’s side kick, Paul Ryan who loves anything that the Gop-e says and his big government ideas and ties to K Street.
Huckabee (like his view on marriage); though, he wouldn’t win over all of the fractions because he couldn’t do it before, Perry, he couldn’t portray himself during the last presidential primaries that he could be a leader.
I like Cruz a lot but in some ways, I might hate to see him leave the Senate because he is so darn good there. I am waiting to find my candidate so far Palin, Cruz, Walker. And of course, Jeff Sessions.
He’s got a better chance of being President than he does of being majority leader.
What Perry is correct about is simply the ability of a senior executive to form and manage a team. Governors have that experience, Congressmen do not. The individual currently pretending to be President is a perfect example. 0bama's administration could still have managed its mission to "transform", i.e. destroy, America, without becoming the laughingstock that it is if he could have formed and managed a team. But Hillary as Secretary of State? Biden as Vice President? This is not a guy who has a clue about forming a team - this is a syndicate, and a damn bad one.
I would rather have a governor.
OUTSTANDING. Love Barton as Sec of Ed. Love’ em all actually.
No, it will be that psycho Hillary Clinton, who is really nothing but the wife of Bill Clinton.
Mine too, but there is a large FReeper contingent who want a conservative with 110% conservative values, ain't going to happen...
While I would vote for Perry if he was nominated, I would not vote to nominate him. A good government could be formed around Cruze, Carson, Lee, Bolton, Gingrich, and Sessions. Don’t see a governor in there anywhere.
