I am requesting prayers from my fellow freepers. Last month I was diagnosed with Lung Cancer.
I had a PET Scan yesterday and will get the results tomorrow.
I ask that you say a little prayer for me that it is operable.

Prayers up! BTW, many people have lived a long time after fighting lung cancer or even managing it. Joe Dinardo, a local Pittsburgh weatherman was diagnosed with lung cancer many years ago, he is still around. Good luck, I hope it will be taken care of.

If need be, by Your Sovereign Oversight, also operate indirectly in Waxer1's lungs.
And flood hope in this freeper's life...and remind him/her they aren't alone as they face this.

Will do. I am so sorry to hear that. Rest, relax, eat healthy, and stay as positive as you can even if that seems impossible. No need to worry more than you have to until the results are back.
I know, easy for me to say, but I have been through cancer with people a few times. Take it a step at a time and keep everyone praying like you are doing.
It will be ok no matter what. You can do this. Sometimes it’s amazing what you can do when you have to.

Heavenly Father, in your name we pray,
We all come before you with a solemn heart and in need of Your intercession. We pray that the cancer that has come into this dear person's life soon fades into a quick remission.Comfort them upon their sickbed, and ease their suffering. We beg for deliverance, and submit that no healing is too hard for the Lord. We therefore pray that You bless their entire family with Your loving care, renew their strength, and bless them with peace, comfort and understanding in Your loving name.
We believe in Your loving capacity for miracles, and ask for this on this person's behalf. As we grow older, I know we become closer to the day you accept us back into your kingdom. We ask that you delay that holy union if it be your will. Lord, Your scripture set forth that You heal all diseases and whoever believes in You will not perish but have an everlasting life. Strengthen this person, Lord, in this time of their illness. Sustain them as they lays sick in their bed. When You were on Earth, you did all things good and healed all kinds of sickness.
Lord of all…this person is suffering, we ask to do what is right, good and best for them. As it fits your plan, heal this person and mend their body and lovingly grant them days of better health and strength. As the family waits your grace and blessing please grant them an extra measure of patience, endurance and perseverance. Lord we know You are able to heal. Grant this person the wisdom to understand Your timing.
Let it be done in Your glory, Lord.
