President Barack Obama will hold a press conference at the White House on Wednesday afternoon, press secretary Josh Earnest announced on Twitter.
The president will speak in the East Room of the White House at 2:50 p.m., according to a White House notice. The regular press briefing, originally scheduled for 1 p.m., has been canceled.
The president will most likely address the midterm election results, which provided a major blow to Democrats as Republicans took control of the Senate and made gains in the House.
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, who won reelection on Tuesday and will become majority leader next year in the Republican-controlled Senate, will hold a press conference at 2 p.m. The Kentucky Republican will be speaking at the McConnell Center at the University of Louisville less than an hour before Obama is scheduled to speak.

I hope the repubs in congress do not forget the crouch kicking they've gotten for the past six years from obozo, Reid and Pelosi re their collective mantra of “We Won!” which implied to the repubs, we'll do it our way and get what we want and blame you for it.

This is one I will watch. The narcissist will probably have a melt-down, just like he did after that gun control bill was voted down. Schadenfreude time!
However, I wouldn’t put it past him to announce some executive orders that will make your head spin as some sort of punishment to those that have refused to bow to and recognize his self-perceived perfection and greatness.

:^D ... He has all the classical symptoms of narcissim: before the election it was all about him... after the rejection of the popular vote he says it is nothing to do with him. The greatest danger - IMHO - of narcissism is morphing into ego mania [like Pappa Joe.]
For 'bama to say he represents the 2/3 that did not vote has a chilling breeze... all dictators represent the ghostly majority.
