Thank you for the link. I USED to watch Channel 3 - I can’t watch ANY of the local news around here anymore; I tend to throw things at, and sometimes THROUGH, my TV set!

I cannot abide having the TV on tonight. I am hanging out here and listening to ‘Tibetan Singing Bowl’ meditation music in the background.

Here's a little election data set some folks might like to use tonight.

Someone may already have a better one, but this is nice too.


I would like to invite folks to use the Los Angeles Times Senate, House, and Nationwide State Gubantorial candidate breakdowns.  It's a fairly good indicator of where things are headed.

Note: Make sure ALL is selected.  Then you can click on Senate, House, or Governors

These categories show current wins and gains.  (Ex: Republican = 44 +4 / Democrats = 38+2)  Note: Picking up former other party seats gives you a + number.  Both can have plus numbers, even though it's misleading.
