The lawlessness of UNC administrators continues to make headlines across the nation. Most of this lawlessness comes from administrative offices dedicated to promoting diversity. It is no wonder that most of the fake classes taken by student athletes at UNC were listed under African American Studies. Where we find multiculturalism, we find the denial of objective truth. Where we find the denial of objective truth, we find people who lie and deny it.
Of course we find plenty of lies and deception associated with virtually every activity initiated by the LGBTQIA Office and Women's Resource Center (WRC) at UNCW. The latest lie concerns their core claim to be a "resource" that is open to all students regardless of their backgrounds and beliefs.
The ostensibly inclusive UNCW LGBTQIA Resource Office has a Facebook page, which can be accessed at this link. Note two things: First, the group is listed as a "closed" membership group. Second, both Katie Peel, the director of the WRC, and Amy Schlag, director of the LGBTQIA Resource Office, have the authority to deny people membership in the group. The two were "married" in the State of Massachusetts. Now, they are partnering in their efforts to deny university resources to people who do not share their beliefs.
The UNCW WRC also has a Facebook page, which can be accessed at this link. Note two things: First, the group is listed as a "closed" membership group. Second, both Katie Peel, the director of the WRC, and Amy Schlag, director of the LGBTQIA Resource Office, have the authority to deny people membership in the group. Why are these two soul mates not listed as co-directors for each of the offices?
It is also worth noting that the WRC provides $1000 awards for members of the university community who demonstrate "inclusiveness." In other words, they exclude people from the page for the center and then use the center's funds to financially reward people who demonstrate the qualities of inclusiveness that they lack. Both the closed group and the inclusiveness awards are supported by taxpayers. It's a lot like paying someone to throw trash on the ground and then paying someone else to pick it up.
The supreme irony of all this is that UNCW has long fought to keep student groups open to people who disagree with the student group's mission - while they simultaneously attempt to close their own groups to keep out dissenting voices. This turns the First Amendment on its head. Individuals have a First Amendment right to express themselves through their associations. That necessarily involves discrimination on the basis of belief. But government entities have no corresponding right to discriminate on the basis of belief. They have a moral obligation to remain viewpoint neutral - as well as a legal obligation when they are using mandatory student activity fees.
But all of this is about to change. Last year, reformers went to the legislature and passed a bill that gives students the legislative right to form their own student groups on the basis of their own chosen beliefs. The administration can no longer interfere with their belief structure. This means that no UNC school can claim that they have an open-group policy and thus interfere with student association rights by relying on the U.S. Supreme Court's poorly reasoned ruling in CLS v. Martinez (2010).
This year, there is a new bill in the works, which will cut off legislative funding for all LGBT Offices and WRCs in the UNC system. I'm proud to be helping with that new piece of legislation. I'm also proud that it will be sponsored by one of my former students now serving in the NC House of Representatives.
People have long wondered why the LGBT Offices have joined the WRCs and gotten so heavily involved in lobbying on the abortion issue. The answer is that their pro-abortion programs serve the same purpose as their masturbation workshops and their orgasm appreciation seminars. They are simply meant to promote sexual promiscuity as a means of attaining personal fulfillment.
Ironically, while our LGBT and WRC offices are teaching young people to be open to abnormal forms of sexual expression, they are teaching them to be closed to normal forms of First Amendment expression. Of course, they have a right to close their minds. But it is time for decent citizens to start closing their pocket books.

LGBTQIA = ?
For those of us who have led a sheltered straight life!
Thank you... I live here in Chapel Hill and spend a lot of time on the UNC campus... From now on I’ll be on the lookout for those species of birds!
LOL had never seen the term before...found with search engine
LGBTQIA? The acronym just keeps getting longer and longer!
Thank you (I think) for clearing that up.
Easy enough, QUEER or QUEER supporters.
Man, it just makes my head spin. But I think what it reduces to is a lesbian couple living off academic excess of money when parents and undergraduates are paying thorugh the nose for extremely questionable scholarship.
Hooray!
I saw a big doe sneak across my yard this morning and about 3 minutes later a huge 6 point buck came walking by about 15 feet from me and never even noticed I was standing there in the wide open yard... He had his nose in the air and was hot to trot for her... Maybe it was one of those LBGTQIA’s that wandered off campus. Sure was a horny bastard.
What is Intersex? Inter-species????
What? A buck was sniffing out a doe? I have a feeling he was being hetero normative in his desires to find a doe. We have to be sensitive to the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgendered deer.
Not my area of expertise LOL.
God bless America.
The Q is for “Questioning”.
But don’t do it.
“We have to be sensitive to the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgendered deer.”
I meant the guy running behind the buck with his trousers around his ankles.... I’m not far from the UNC campus!!
As always, liberal groups are only open to people that agree with them.
Intersex?
What is Intersex? Inter-species????
Furries?
