A poll by the Des Moines Register published today offers multiple reasons for GOP joy. Jodi Ernst is breaking out into a lead that is beyond the poll’s margin of error, while, Harry Reid, in words he may regret, has gone on the record saying that an Ernst win portends the GOP taking the Senate. "What Joni Ernst would mean, coming to the United States Senate, is that Mitch McConnell would be the leader of the Senate, someone who agrees with her on virtually everything. Think what that would mean to our country," Reid said on Friday. Unless this is an urgent call for vote fraud, it is hard to see how it will inspire the Democrat ranks. The Register’s analysis of the poll is worth reading, for it reveals across-the-board problems for the Democrat candidate Bruce Braley, and highlights why Jodi Ernst may become a rising GOP star if she joins the Senate. But first one caveat: this is a small sample poll, with only 701 likely voters included...

Dems lie about and with the polls up until right before the election, then attempt to clean them up when it would do the least damage.
The reality is that Ernst was always ahead.
Sounds like she will be cutting the balls off of more hogs. I wonder how Reid feels about that? Lol!
I think she’ll win but I heard her say she supports “affordable healthcare”. She sounds like an Obamacare amender, not an Obamcare ender.
I suspect Ernst’s comments about “hog castrating” in her childhood were an act to hustle conservatives in the primary.
Ernst will end being a cow milker in Washington, not a hog castrator.
Let’s hope Reid is first in line.
On second thought, he probably doesn’t have any.
Geez, she isn’t even in yet and already you know her future vote record. Sometimes this place is downright depressing.
I may be jumping the gun, buy I am buying a six pack of my favorite craft beer and putting it on ice. If Reid and the Dems go down big, I will be partying. Of course the next two months could be a living hell, if I know Democrats.
Like Rush said, pollsters are looking for credibility in the last few weeks.

I might even watch MSNBC just too see the weeping, gnashing of teeth, and tear of garmets.
I mean...what's the point for the typical Democrat to get out of bed? There ain't gonna be no walking around money.
I sounds like ol' Harry Reid has just thrown in the towel.
There is a lot of fat on that pig.. Shes going after the leanest part, and I am fairly sure no one but the pig would notice it’s gone.
I know, dems should just stay home, all is lost anyway.

Ernst is talking like Obama with that kind of pitch.
