Parents of a boy enrolled in Manhattan Beach Middle School are pulling their son out of class because the school is teaching children the tents of Islam, Los Angeles news station KTLA reports.
The father said, “The audacity of this school, to think that they can sit these children down and teach ’em whatever religion they please; it’s preposterous. This is illegal, basically. You can’t teach religion in schools any more, but apparently, in this particular school, at least, that’s not the case.”
Parents said they discovered that what their children were learning about Islam was more about the tenets of the faith than the history of the religion, according to KTLA. One question asked the students to write down teachings from the Koran.
The father continued, “What I saw written in these bubbles was, ‘The one true God, Allah’ in one of the bubbles. In one of the other bubbles was ‘All people must submit to Allah,’ in another bubble. The I turned the page over and I see the five pillars of Islam.”

Father: “Can you imagine the outcry all over this country if children were bringing home paperwork that asked them to write down John 3:16, or asked them to write down the 10 Commandments?”
Mother: “And if it ended with the Declaration of the Faith, Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior? That’s what the equivalent, I mean, part of us, for our son? We’d be happy about that."

You are right - it was the first line the spell check missed but the word was correct in the other sentence quoted at post 34. I missed the error that caused the confusion.

So, we collectively have paid dearly for first hand acquaintance with the term “tents”. It seems only fair our journalists should use it whenever they can. :0)
I see that the National Socialist Democrat Union Party is no longer teaching socialism in our nation’s schools, having exchanged that curriculum for madrassas. Very fitting and appropriate for many or our yutes. Parents who care know what to do now.

As regard to this issue, actually Britain and other European nations are way ahead of us. Although, it seems France is getting fed up and has passed laws prohibiting hijabs, al-ameri, shayla, niqabs, and burkas (the worse). So are a couple of other nations to a lessor extent, except for burkas.
Isn't cultural diversity wonderful? Marry as many as you want and then beat or kill them if they won't let you rape them or kill them upon demand. A muslim can get raped and it's her fault and faces judicial punishment, not to mentioned being stoned by her own family.
After all, their family honor must remain intact so they kill them, not to mention female mutilation of their genitals. Isn't cultural diversity wonderful? And yet the National Organization of Women (NOW) hags have nothing to say about the above. You'd think there would be world-wide outrage over the daily abuse of Muslim women.
Oh, and you just have to love the Palestians' ritual of blood-letting of their children's heads. What? you never heard of it? Just Google. I don't have a photo client or I would post the many pics I have of the Pali men cutting their own heads and then the heads of their children.
As I've said many times, I have more respect for the deep Amazon tribes who at least treat their women and children with some respect. I hate Palis and most Muslims! Making tents is an honorable occupation, I believe it was St. Paul who was a tent maker by trade. I dunno whether they should teach it in school though.

This same left wing school system will in 4 weeks be ever so vigilant to keeping children from saying ‘Christmas’ and the traditional Christmas student programs will be sure to omit the darlings singing anything with a Christmas theme such as no singing ‘Silent Night’ because libby teachers don’t believe in ‘Holy Night’.

They do not embrace Islam. They are socialist allies in the war against capitalism.
This is pretty simple to me. It may not be very popular to say this, but I welcome the dialog with my kids, especially on subject like this. The solution is to teach them the rest of story, not try to insulate them from it. My 10 year-old has caused quite a riff on several occasions questioning the material at school. Be it “man-made” climate change propaganda or the one that actually bought me a meeting with his teacher and principle... the mock election at the school where my son, out loud and in front of the class, questioned the wisdom of anyone who would vote for Obama; an abortion pimp (he had other words for it that were quite abrasive, but more proper). He questioned their very morality, it was absolutely hilarious. It’s a private Catholic school, so they don’t take well to students breaking the chain and challenging the teachers. He sure makes them work for their money. I couldn’t be more proud.
