That is an almost automatic response by some posters. Are the facts of the story in doubt simply because of the messenger? This isn't the only publication to touch on this theme of spousal unhappiness in the WH this second term; far from it.

Who cares if their marriage is unhappy? I don’t know whether or not the story is true. But I do know that it is a distraction, and I suspect that it is meant to be.
