As the co-founder of the Daily Show, Lizz Winstead might be a funny lady. But what she came up with today was surely an unintentional laugh line. Appearing on Joy Reid's MSNBC show this afternoon, Winstead blamed Wendy Davis' impending thrashing in her race for Governor of Texas on . . . "redistricting."
Lizz, last time we looked, there is no districting"re" or otherwisewhen it comes to statewide races. The entire state is one big district that gets to vote for Governor. Oh, and for good measure, Lizz laid the rest of the blame on "the media." Right. In a state where the major newspaper in three of the four largest cities have endorsed Davis.

What a fool. They would draw little circles around parts of Austin and Houston, where people would be allowed to vote, and screw everyone else.

Not on the video shown - the host (I don’t know her because the only msnbc I ever watch is replayed through other sites so they don’t get the hit) didn’t laugh or correct her. But on top of being ridiculous, her voice is higher than expected and grating. I’m still laughing at reproductive justice...which SHOULD mean prosecution for those women who murder their babies.

The entire MSM supports leftists and leftist causes, it is always quite dumb to hear them blame the media.
and she looks like she is a few stones short of a few stones

Redistricting didn’t implode Wendy’s campaign, Wendy imploded it. OMG, the nutcase Left Wing just got nuttier!
To: Timocrat
Texas was already split up. Part of it became parts of New Mexico, Oklahoma, Colorado, Kansas and Wyoming such.

uhhh.....no, it’s because the number of voters in Texas for whom “An Abortion in Every Pot” is their primary issue is a three-digit number.

TX is full of liberals, but they are not as organized as they would like to be. I imagine they will take over at some point in the future as more little liberals become registrants.

Uh, voting for governor is done on a state-wide basis. As a life long Texas resident, I should know. It’s been a long and tiring week, so this special kind of stupid doesn’t even get me worked up.
