This will free up the cops to get some traffic tickets written. Just in time for the end of the month quota.

If I’d caught him, I’d have shot him and left him for the crows.

(People who support liberal "Republicans" summarily support every action by same.)
Wait’ll it eventually comes out that Frein went after the cop because the cop was cheating on Frein’s sister. It’ll take a while for that to come out however. This was a “family” ordeal, that Frein wen’t after the cop at the barracks was more or less predictable opportunity.

You know, it's interesting that he was caught on a tip and hiding in a hangar of all places instead of being taken a righteous stalk in the woods. I think he just got tired of living off the land and probably with the weather & temps as fall and winter came on. He probably made the call himself. Eric Rudolph ran the gubmint ragged for what? At least 6 months until they caught him in a town, dumpster diving for dinner.

My nephew is a state trooper here in Alabama. He has had his share of shoot outs. Too many. People these days watch TV and think it is okay to run from the cops, like man I am on TV, and just pull a gun and want to go out in a blaze of glory.

He may have just gotten tired of being a fugitive and realized the police may never find him before he runs out of provisions or enablers in that part of the state. The sugar high/manic thrill of being The Artful Dodger had long worn off.
