Online fund for Nathan Cirillo and Patrice Vincent hits $550,000 in just six days
An online campaign to raise money for the families of Corporal Nathan Cirillo and Warrant Officer Patrice Vincent has quickly surpassed several goals, reaching $550,000 as of Tuesday.
The Stand On Guard Fund was created by a group of federal lobbyists and political staffers on Oct. 22, hours after Cirillo was shot and killed at the Canadian War Memorial.
We were well past our goal of $10,000 by noon (the next day), and then we got a call from Canadas banks saying they wanted to give us $80,000. And then the snowball really started rolling, said Chad Rogers, one of the organizers.
The founders wanted to express their sympathy for the deaths of the two soldiers in more than just words, Rogers said.
I generally think of Charles as a dolt; the product of generations of selective inbreeding.
Having said that I will give him kudos for this.
Now back to my regular program....
Really nice of Charles. But where did he get the money? The guy doesn’t work.
P Charles is basically a muzzi convert so it’s interesting he’s giving money to someone murdered by a jihadi.
Good. Stopped clock, but never mind.
Charles is what the Brits call a “toffee nosed git” but just the same I have to give credit where it’s due. Good job!

Good for him.
Happened to catch the funeral of Corporal Cirillo in Hamilton on You Tube.
With all the resources at hand, the Royal family should have had a royal there at the funeral.
I suggest anyone interested to watch...stunningly moving!
Canada Ping!
Good man... good of Prince Charles to do this... and the banks too.
