So, say you're cruising along and something goes haywire in your little pea brain and you see a bunch of folks crossing the street or having a picnic or tailgate party or whatever and in your altered state you drive in to them. Has happened. Tougher to dodge a huge mass of metal than 55 grains. There's more items that are more likely to result in you demise than firearms but you KNOW they don't care and don't/won't engage in the argument. Because, guns bad.
