NC has photo ID law and I had to sign a paper after producing photo ID, it was not an easy process...only four picture IDs accepted. I’m believing that will stop most of our voter fraud.
There were some illegals getting drivers licensing back in 2008...I think that has been taking a hit as well.
There were quite a few dead people voted here back in 08 and that has been targeted. She really looked at pics to make sure it was the person on DL.
The dead guy vote always gets me.
First, for early voting states...there’s always the possibility of two-hundred folks from that state having a heart-attack or car accident from early voting to final vote. I can understand this and grasp it.
Then, you have the guys who passed away nine months ago and the county clerk mailed them their absentee ballot (just like the year before), and the nephew or wife votes with the ballot.
Then, you have the county that hasn’t updated their listing in five years, and someone has shown up yearly to vote as a four-year-old dead guy.
The topping on the cake is that you can even have a dead voter voting for a dead candidate.
