Sounds like a lovely Sunday!
OHHH I hope my uncle lurking on FR UNCLEEE get in here now oh well I tell him on FB
That one of his former station this base his former hood
While on a ministry trip with a Christian high school chorale to Jamaica, we witnessed an illustration of Gods love in action. On the day we visited an orphanage for disabled children and teens, we learned that Donald, one of the boys our kids had interacted witha teen with cerebral palsywas going to be adopted.
When the adopting couple arrived at the base where we were staying, it was a joy to talk to them about Donald. But what was even better was what happened later. We were at the base when Donald and his new parents arrived just after they had picked him up at the orphanage. As the brand-new mom embraced her son, our students gathered around her and sang praise songs. Tears flowed. Tears of joy. And Donald was beaming!
Later, one of the students said to me, This reminds me of what it must be like in heaven when someone is saved. The angels rejoice because someone has been adopted into Gods family. Indeed, it was a picture of the joy of heaven when someone new joins Gods forever family by faith in Christ. Jesus spoke of that grand moment when He said, There will be . . . joy in heaven over one sinner who repents (Luke 15:7).
Praise God that He has adopted us into His family. No wonder the angels rejoice!
Thank you for your service vpintheak! *Hugs*
And that was after church, which was nice too!
I sure won’t carp about it! :-)
After nursing Lynn-dah (medicating, bathing, treating etc)for three weeks I needed to get in the wind.
Yeah! You girls try not to stay up too late catching up & chatting. (as if!);)
Hope you got that sign on the restroom door! :)
The drawbridges can be a little tricky though. There were 4 of them on my route.
Yes.....
That’s why I moved away from Boston.
I needed a latitude adjustment!
It's good to have goals Pro. *giggle*
Just had a vision of you wheeling across...I think you would if you could...:)
Hey...what happend to Lynn-dah? She was ill?
You KNOW I’m talking about a 750 Pound Motorcycle.
“”wheeling” over a drawbridge is NOT an option! LOL!
Sometime this week. LOL! We will make one on the computer
Good evening, ML...((HUGS))...did you have a Marvelous Monday? Back on schedule? It’s mid 20s here.
She ate something that gave her a skin reaction. Being a dog, she just figured if she chewed her skin off, it would stop itching.
She has been on keflex and prednezone and special shampoo for 3 weeks.
The steroid is making her eat like a moose and drink like a fish, so i have to walk her almost every hour!
Another “lean” week, as everyone is cancelling for the solemn high holiday of Halloween.
(sigh)
But it's a VERY cool visual!:)
