On his Fox News show Thursday night, host Bill O'Reilly cited the Media Research Center study on the network evening newscasts censoring coverage of the 2014 midterms: "Eight years ago, the nightly network newscasts went full out to cover the campaigns, which Democrats were favored to win....But this time around, the graph is far different. At this point in time, ABC News did 36 election reports eight years ago. So far this year, zero, nothing. CBS, 58 in year 2006. 14 this year. NBC, 65 eight years ago. 11 this year. Simply stunning."

Carville tried to claim it was because public opinion has turned against politics in general, and because networks strive for ratings, they don't think stories about the elections will give them adequate ratings. AS IF news shows shouldn't report news; only sell an ignorant point of view. Typical.

media just don’t want to report depressing stories. If DEM was predicted to win, there be tonnes of news stories about it

87% of major media figures voted for Dukakis. And they claim not even a little bias....

Carville knows exactly why it’s happening - he’s just a professional liar and a leopard can’t change it’s spots.

This is totally fine if the liberal #corruptmedia watching low information voters totally miss that there even is an election

Aggravating as BOR can be, his and Bernie Goldberg's stories on media bias are always worth sitting through. He also has
Media Research Center founder/president
Brent Bozell on the program frequently. Bozell is a nephew of William F. Buckley, and the MRC has done a wonderful job of actually quantifying bias statistically.

There seems to be some sort of misplaced confidence prior to the mid-term elections that the GOP is poised to take over the Senate and gain more seats in the House....

BOR & Meghyn are 2 programs on my schedule whenever possible.
I ignore BOR’s boasting because he has interesting guests.
Meghyn has exceeded my expectations.
