“The problem here is, this hero, coming back from the front having done the right things, was treated with disrespect,” Mr. de Blasio said. “We have to think how we treat the people who are doing this noble work,” he said. “We owe her better than that.”

Insanity. She owes Americans protection from disease.

Give her a big hug de Blasio. Walk the talk. Show how strongly you believe she is no danger to the public. If anyone else is infected because of your spineless decision, you need to be criminally prosecuted.

I owe her nothing. I do not want to be infected by her.

We don’t owe her anything. The people in the Hot Zone are the ones that owe her.

If others had not been so irresponsible as to wander around potentially exposing hundreds of people, this might not have happened.

The New York area is too densely populated to take a chance on letting the cat out of the bag. Quarantine makes sense, and the States have the power to do it. In fact, it has been done in our recent history.

But a quarantine established too late, such as the flu in the early 20th century is not as successful as one that is put in place to “nip it in the bud”.

If the Feds don’t want these people quarantined, then let all the people who feel entitled to run around get off in Washington DC, and let them stay in the empty bedrooms of the White House, and set up units in the congressional basement. Let Obama hug them every day to show his gratitude.
