Jeb Bush 'Moving Forward' On 2016 Presidential Run, Says Son George P Bush running for Texas land commissioner Says former Florida governor giving this a serious thought
Former Florida governor Jeb Bush is moving forward on a potential 2016 White House run and it appears more likely he will enter the Republican field, according to his son, who is himself running for office in Texas.
George P Bush, who is running for Texas land commissioner, told ABC on Sunday his father was still assessing a presidential bid, but suggested it was more likely that he would seek the White House this time. The ex-governor declined to run for president in 2012, despite encouragement from Republicans.
I think its more than likely that hes giving this a serious thought and moving and moving forward, said the younger Bush.
Asked if that meant it was more than likely that hell run, Bush said: That hell run. If you had asked me a few years back
I would have said it was less likely.

If this clown is the nominee I swear I’ll vote for Hillary
"What difference does it make?"
I find this good news..let lil jebbie join in...and Christie and the slime huckster and a few other scumbags...dilute the field like the GOPe slime has done to conservatives...turn the table on them!
We on the other hand need to narrow our field.
I would love to have a Reagan republican on the ticket but if it’s a choice between Hillary and a goldfish with “R” after his name I am going to vote for the goldfish.
That’s what I think too. Jeb is doing this for himself and to please his Dad GB who has been in declining health for some time. It’s not easy say ‘No Way, Pops!’ to the Patriarch of a very famous family line. Jeb’s wife, as seems usual, remains silent to the point of invisibility.
If Columba Bush; Jeb’s wife begins making the talk show rounds, it will either be to support his decision to run, or to issue one last warning to Jeb that he better not run and expect her to be dragged into that circus. If Columba does the talk shows accompanied by her son GWB 3rd, who also does not want Jeb to run, there will be a family crisis being played out in public. I doubt if it goes that far. Jeb will probably only receive The Silent Treatment if he makes the ‘wrong’ choice. They’ve been married since 1974, which in today’s world is quite impressive.
America does not NEED another lukewarm, half a loaf Bush. We are about to go under a third time - we need real dynamic fearless leadership.
They had 12 years. Nothing changed.
Our family did not vote for George P in the primaries or last week and we will never vote for another Bush for anything. George P will more than likely be elected as Land Commissioner in Texas, even though getting elected to a position of dog catcher would be well above his intellectual ability.
You could be right. I don’t see Huckleberry and his ilk sitting it out, though.
Heck I want them to join in......they will split the vote between bush , christie, romney!
I’ll quote Mrs. Reagan who told us what to say when someone is offering you poison. Just say “NO”!
He would have to be an idiot to think that he has a chance. Are these people really that isolated as to not have a clue?
Don’t be too sure. You think votes in Iowa and New Hampshire (Dole, McCain) are that intelligent. And how about the cross-over primaries.
Please...no. Christie is already making moves, people are talking Romney, the ‘new’ (read flip flopping) Rand Paul is planning to run as is Huckabee. *sigh* Just no.
Tragedies in America tend to repeat themselves.
I AIN’T VOTING FOR NO MORE STINKING BUSHES. Yes, I am SCREAMING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The Pubbies want to lose...again.
Texans!
A vote for baby Bush just encourages them.
No more Bush’s.

Go home, Jeb. We don’t want you.
