Politically, I am Through with Sarah Palin

It’s time for a break up.

If you haven’t already seen, Sarah Palin has endorsed Bill Walker and Byron Mallott’s Independent-Democrat “Unity” ticket in the Alaska gubernatorial race over Republican incumbent Sean Parnell. She endorses the Independent-Democrat ticket over the man who was her own lieutenant governor.

Because of this, as far as Republican politics are concerned, I’m finished with Sarah Palin. I have nothing but respect for her has a wife, mother, and grandmother. I pray that, should I ever be faced with the prospect of having to raise a child with Down Syndrome or any other disability, I would have the wisdom to make the kind of decision she made with Trig and that I could bear that cross so gracefully. I must also add, in light of recent events, that I find the media’s treatment of the family brawl despicable, and unlike Carroll Costello, I find assault no laughing matter.

She should have finished out her term and not handed the office over to Mr. Parnell if he was that duplicitous.

I’m reluctant to give any politician the benefit of the doubt but with Palin, I will.

Whoever Schmitt’s boss tells him to. as he always does.

But his boss is a ‘severe conservative’ worth voting for again and again. NO MATTER WHAT!!! Not like that evil Sarah Palin. /s

The Palin endorsement that I most disliked was that of her own McPain.

She was more political about that than I could ever have been.

Silence doesn’t mean agreement. It’s a weird situation. When she backs someone she’s not shy about saying so. Something’s going on here. Maybe some behind the scenes talking. Who knows.

As I recall, both Sarah Palin and Mitt Romney campaigned for Joni Ernst.

People need to stop worrying about things that don’t matter and worry about things that do.

I live in TN also and Corker is no RINO. Alexander has been around awhile and I am no big fan, but; I will not vote for the DEM. This mid state Tea Party is not that bright.

There were checkbooks wide open for ANYONE in the MenSeekingMen media who participated in destroying Sarah.

Very nice...MSM. Also appears to be accurate most of the time.

Ingrown big toenails are a blight on mankind and what are we doing about it? Not nearly enough!

A conservative does not endorse a liberal. A conservative does not endorse someone who supports abortion. I don’t care what her motives were in trying to defeat Parnell, she betrayed true conservative values.

When she cut a deal with the devil she blew it. Again.

She should have kept her mouth shut and made no endorsements.

They are lucky she doesn’t pay them what she owes them. Because there would be a Dem landslide if she ever spilled the beans on their actual BS. The MSM would give her all the airtime needed to destroy them.

Fortunately for them and unlike them, she put her country first and didn’t unleash the Kraken. Whether that was a wise move in the long term has yet to be seen.

Ernst is an interesting case. Palin didn’t really know her when she endorsed Joni (seems like a a Gyno-American deal to me). Romney has known her for a number of years, and didn’t just endorse and make an appearance or two; he furnished her with staff and money.

That did not stop Joni from taking a resolutely pro-life stand, nor did it motivate her to back away from her Second Amendment stand.

Kind of my thinking. Miss Sarah is a bit of a loose cannon. In my experience Conservative Loose Cannons generally have their heart in the right place, and only offend those who deserve it. Can’t say that for Liberal Loose Cannons.

Then explain Mitt Romney. He’s a liberal and a lot of self proclaimed conservatives still fight to defend their endorsement of that liberal to this day.

Explain how you reconcile the two because it cannot be both ways.

I trust Sarah’s judgement. No-one elses though.
