A Harlem doctor who recently treated patients in Africa, tested positive for the deadly disease after he was rushed to Bellevue Hospital with symptoms, including a 103-degree fever, sources told The Post.

Spencer had spent Wednesday night bowling in Williamsburg. He used an Uber car service to get to and from the Brooklyn neighborhood.

Hipster bowling hot spot The Gutter was closed last night due to “unforseen circumstances.”

He was reported elsewhere to be “self-quarantining”. His girl-friend/fiancee is also in isolation.

Like I keep saying, this administration is irresponsible using the honor system to contain a virus with a fatality rate over 50%.

Wiccan keep blaming the people with Ebola, but the root cause is an incompetent administration and their CDC. It seems like they want it to spread because they are being ridiculously ineffective.

I suspect arrogance. He couldn’t get it because he followed protocol.

Somehow, my confidence in Doctors Without Borders is just not as high as with Samaritan’s Purse. I’m not sure they are all as selfless as Dr. Brantley. Unlike Samaritan’s Purse, DWB is not a Christian organization.

Also, it is said that Spencer’s fiancee is now in quarantine and being monitored for Ebola. Lord help her if the two of them had been engaging in sexual relations, as it is my understanding that the virus is somewhat concentrated in semen.

The article certainly makes it sounds like it. So if not, I blame the editor instead.

However he shouldn’t have been BOWLING. That alley just lost its business. I wouldn’t go there now. Probably wouldn’t anyways I despise hipsters.

What kind of “doctor” just returning treating patients in the Hot Zone of Africa, comes back the most densely populated city in The US and goes bowling?

But I know vitamin c isn’t going to stop Ebola.

I wonder. If many grams were given intravenously it would be interesting to see if it resulted in any benefits. I'd bet some of the few doctors who do use massive doses would believe that vitamin C could help. - And I think it is pretty certain that it would cause no harm.

But no one will try it as things are now.

They’re already scrubbing the narrative so he “self quarantined as soon as he became symptomatic.”

It has been tried. I read about it. I think I remember it being successful.

Still trying to remember where I read about it. Maybe Nstural News.

- Now I am recalling family insisting it be used for a pt considered terminal, and walking out.

The NYTimes article says he took the subway to the bowling alley. Then he took a taxi home.

Excellent.

I’m all for ridiculing politicians.

Speaking of . . . I’m watching the NYC presser, and could you please make the mayor and gov shut up?

If he felt well enough to bowl I doubt he was very contagious.

Is that like being almost pregnant :)

The NTimes article said he was feeling sluggish on Tuesday. He did not self quarantine until he had the 103 temp. on Thursday.
