It’s still supposed to show the person what it thinks the person wanted. If it is showing R but registering D, then proverbial heads should roll.

Voting machines have a chain of custody documented for service and storage reasons. Simply review the chain of custody and arrest the last persons to have said custody for any purpose. Put them under oath or get legal representation to explain themselves.
If they can recall a 2003 Toyota Corolla for an airbag after three owners, they can certainly obtain chain of custody for voting machines.

In those days, it was cigar-chomping men suits with bags of $20’s and first-class tickets. Everything is so much more efficient these days with technology in the modern economy.

The more I think about it, this “calibration error” is completely plausible (as in plausible deniability) because the R’s and D’s alternate, it would be possible to deliberately mis-calibrate the machine’s touch screen (that is, where the X-Y of the finger hits the boxes representing the vote) in largely R areas.
This, of course, is absolutely ingenious, elegantly simple work by the Dems.
To prevent this, it would be best to randomize the order of the R’s and D’s.

“This sort of calibration error seems to be common and may explain the districts with 100% democrat votes.”
Obviously, someone screwed up big-time in those districts. 115% was the target...

Someone should ask them if they couldn’t save everyone a lot of trouble and just tell us what the final vote tallies will be now.

The calibrator should get the death penalty for election fraud

“This is precisely how the Ds keep the Senate this year. Im now entirely convinced, the ballot box is no longer valid and does not work.”
I read something somewhere about three boxes....hmmm...what was it? I’m in my 60s, so maybe the ol’ memory is not what it once was.

Allowed? How magnanimous of them.

During the last election in Texas, the same thing happened to my sister in law, when she tried to vote. The problem is that you have to ask the voting machine to review your votes to find out if it is “calibrated right”!!!!
There is massive voter fraud by the DemocRATes,

What a crock! Can one imagine if that “error” had been reversed and what the lsm would be doing right now?

I’ve seen a hundred stories like this one and not one of them ever switched to a Republican vote. The way the machines work is that if you don’t calibrate the touch screen then a portion of the screen, like the upper left corner will be the spot that gets selected even though you touch to the right of that spot.
So if you want to cheat, you put the Democrat candidate in that upper left corner and ‘forget’ to calibrate it. You always have plausible deniability..

The Dems would probably be rioting in the streets and burning down businesses with conservative owners.

Maybe the machines are controlled like the ones in the casinos—they decide who loses and who wins there, why not in an election?
