Michael Zehaf-Bibeau, the Muslim convert who fatally shot Corporal Nathan Cirillo - a 24-year-old father standing guard at Ottawa's War Memorial, was a petty criminal and the son of a leading Canadian immigration official, it has been revealed.
Born in Quebec as Michael Joseph Hall and raised in Laval, just north of Montreal, the young man lived a quiet childhood of private schools and suburban homes, with a mother who was a high ranking federal employee.
Then, after years of run-ins with the law, he converted to Islam.
A criminal court database shows 13 identified Quebec court records dating back to June 2001 in Montreal involving Zehaf-Bibeau.
According to documents his full name is Michael, Joseph, Paul, Abdallah Bulgasem Zehaf Bibeau.
He was charged in February 2004 for possession of marijuana and possession of PCP. He pleaded guilty to both charges in December 2004, serving one day in prison for marijuana possession and 60 days for PCP possession.

Tough getting a complete picture of this family...but seems possible the father married her to gain Canadian visa etc. Won’t be surprised if he’s fighting now with Libya Army who just yesterday entered Bengazi to take over.... but I can find nothing on him as a businessman that’s been claimed.
Would also explain the son traveling to Libya if his father lives there..as I suspect.
I do know many Muslim men are encouraged to attain citizenship in other country’s by marrying local woman, who unfortunately are too stupid to figure out their game.
These woman should be arrested for aiding the enemy IMO. Unfortunately our country still fails to identify that there is an enemy.

News reports in Canada generally indicate that the terrorist had been living in the Vancouver (B.C.) area until recently, had a criminal record involving possession and robbery, and had only recently returned to Ottawa where he was apparently living at a shelter. From this one could imagine that he was estranged from his mother and their recent meeting must not have gone particularly well. Beyond that, some of the speculation here about her politics are not actually supported (or rejected) by known facts, but might fall under the heading of inevitable irony given that Canada is governed both in the formal sense by conservatives elected at large and in the de facto sense by a bureaucracy of a government in waiting which never changes its ideology regardless of public opinion.
We can’t really say whether the mother held strong views on Islamic questions related to immigration or just went along to get along, like many Canadians who seem to be sleepwalking through these troubled times, one foot in and one foot out of the path to destruction. And I don’t think it is vastly different in your country. Your Democrat neighbors are probably much like that, no?

AFter 5 years? My first thought was saying goodbye to mom like any good terrorist going to commit suicide. She should have known. We should all be aware of the signs of suicide because you may only see one, but someone else close will see another, and someone else another, and then you stop it.
Probably prison gangs threatening death for not converting to Mohammadanism contributed something too.
