Leadership: By naming an "Ebola Czar," the president has effectively cashiered his bumbling CDC chief and again passed the buck for another crisis to another subordinate.
With Barack Obama, it's always the fault of "him." Or "her." Or "they." The federal Centers for Disease Control Director Thomas Frieden is now taking the fall for blithely promising Americans that Ebola would never come to our shores, and then, when it did thanks to his refusal to restrict travel from West Africa assuring us U.S. hospitals could handle it.
Obama is said to be seething at the CDC's mismanagement of Ebola, so much so that he replaced one incompetent with another political operative Ron Klain, who has already missed two White House meetings on the crisis since his appointment as Ebola czar.
In this administration, Obama is a giant orb of ineptitude circled by yes-men and amateurs. He surrounds himself with incompetent people and then wonders why they screw up. But instead of admitting his own poor judgment, he throws his hand-picked appointees under the bus. Reviewing the fall guys is instructive:
2010: Obama dumps his top Keynesian economist, Christina Romer, after his $2 trillion "economic stimulus" fails to stimulate the economy and fails to keep the jobless rate below 8% as forecast.
2013: IRS official Lois Lerner takes fall for IRS scandal targeting Tea Party and other GOP groups during Obama's 2012 re-election campaign.
March 2014: National Security Agency Director Keith Alexander tenders his resignation after the worst theft of U.S. secrets in history takes place on Obama's watch, gravely compromising national security.

Fall? What fall?
Is she in prison now?

Incompetence would not always move in the same direction. Obama has moved in carefully planned and deliberate ways to harm the U.S. And nearly every step of the way has been protected and/or promoted by Obama’s right hand man: John Boehner.
Obama’s use of the IRS to go after political opponents including in an election year far surpasses anything Nixon did.
Absolutely, and with his many other incidents of subverting the law in fact makes Nixon’s transgressions look like minor infractions.
Is this really “news”?
Early 2009 ... Obama is just sworn in, there’s a trade deal with South Korea already set up, all Obama has to do is fly in and, voila, instant photo-op plus international cred ... sure enough, Team Obama botches that one up.
Later that year, there was Van Jones who quit over Solyndra. And that TARP guy who quit. And the EPA idiot, Lisa Jackson ....
... this amateurishness has been going on since Day 1 of this Clown Administration, it’s just that Big Media refused to report it at all ... now the results are too big to ignore

Thanks for the links. I really enjoy Ramirez’s work.
John who?
Lois Lerner took the fall for IRS like Janet Reno took the fall for Waco. No real consequences and the President avoided getting the blame. Of course Lerner did retire but her pension is more than most people earn with a job.
