The Democrat mantra that voting fraud is rare takes another blow today with the stunning story of a GOP candidate unable to vote for himself in Cook County Illinois. The Illinois Political Review reports:
Admitting his confidence in Cook County ballot integrity is shaken, State Representative Candidate Jim Moynihan (R-56), was shocked today when he tried to cast a vote for himself and the voting machine cast it for his opponent instead.
“While early voting at the Schaumburg Public Library today, I tried to cast a vote for myself and instead it cast the vote for my opponent,” said Moynihan. “You could imagine my surprise as the same thing happened with a number of races when I tried to vote for a Republican and the machine registered a vote for a Democrat."
While using a touch screen voting machine in Schaumburg, Moynihan voted for several races on the ballot, only to find that whenever he voted for a Republican candidate, the machine registered the vote for a Democrat in the same race. He notified the election judge at his polling place and demonstrated that it continued to cast a vote for the opposing candidate’s party. Moynihan was eventually allowed to vote for Republican candidates, including his own race. It is unknown if the machine in question (#008958) has been removed from service or is still in operation.
Well, they don’t call it Crook County for no reason.

Is it not conceivable to have such cheating infrastructure in place to have this confidence? They had such confidence in both 2008 and 12...for those “elections”.
Yes I am this cautious...this jaded.
I suspect 105% turnout in some districts...uprisings enough to declare martial law and liberal judges to declare those illegal aliens had a right to vote.
Even if Rs do win, some other martial law excuse like Ebola may ensue and winners won’t get seated.

News would be that someone has found a way to correct the problem. These machines which only vote Democrat have been documented in all recent elections.
Years ago, the sovereign state of Louisiana replaced their voting machines with a more modern design, (I was a resident at the time). The state sold the outdated machines to Mexico.
The joke (at the time) went that Edwin Edwards was elected president of Mexico in a landslide!
Easily, machines could be programed to turn every 3rd R vote to a D vote. Then, 10 minutes after poll closing time, that program erases itself. How would anyone know? More importantly, no one in the election process seems to care. RNC in full denial mode, as attested to their lack of concern when Philadelphia’s 2012 election count showed NO votes for Romney in ALL 19 precincts. RNC couldn’t be bothered to have ONE R voter stand up and say (s)he wasn’t counted..
We (Americans) are so screwed.

Talk about a blatant FU to the right. You'd think amongst all those voters there'd be a few unintentional errors for Romney. 100% accuracy? I don't think so, considering who's voting, amongst all those idiotcrat voters--not to mention the addicts, winos and hospitalized mental patients bused to various polls!

It should have been removed from service and isolated for forensic examination while the candidate was there watching.
There should be records of maintenance and each and every time the software was updated and who and when the machine was programmed for an election and by whom.
It should be discoverable how and when this error occurred (if it is an error or tampering it needs to be discovered).
My guess is the fraudmeisters are paid by the number of votes they steal so they went full throttle and stole them all.. What do they have to fear, really? The RNC? Hahahahahahahahaha!
I worked with a man from Chicago who was staunch REPUBLICAN. He was a poll watcher and told me of all the tricks the Dems used to make sure their candidate always won.
Corruption is not new in Chicago.
As a former software developer, I DO NOT trust electronic voting. I know how easy it is to put “bugs” in the system.
I knew a software guy who had a client who wouldn’t pay his bill. He put a secret date limit in their system such that beyond a certain day the system would not work. Sure enough, on that date, the client called in a panic - the system would not work. He explained that he would fix the problem, but must be paid first. The client cut the check & my guy removed the date limit. The client never knew he was gamed.
Computers do not understand right & wrong, good & evil, legal & illegal. They will do exactly as you tell them.
I much prefer paper ballots that can be counted & recounted & challenged.
Electronic voting is too easy to manipulate.
Stalin said it only matters who counts the votes, I think the last two elections have been rigged, and the republican leadership knows it, it doesn’t matter who we run or how many turn out, it’s rigged.
The results from any district in which that machine “error” happens even once, or where more than 100% of registered voters “vote”, should be thrown out. Every legitimate vote should count, but if there’s no way to know which are legitimate, invalidate them all.

Updated and modernized, but democrats have done this since the beginning of their party. My FIL told me how he and his union buddies helped stuff the Illinois ballot boxes for JFK in 1960. All the more galling considering how few popular votes there was that year between victory and defeat. Democrats lie, cheat, and steal, everything including elections.

This is most likely a touchscreen calibration issue. Whether the calibration has been deliberately calibrated wrong is another issue. That said, it is unacceptable and machines that do this should be required to be removed from operation by law.
