This Texan takes bumper stickers to a whole new level.
A photo of a truck with Texas tags that features on the tailgate one the most racist decals, complete with a real (and fresh) banana, that targets President Barack Obama was posted to Reddit on Thursday.
"Does this Socialist a** make my truck look too big," the decal, which appears to be professionally done, reads. It also includes photo of Obama dressed in Somalian garb from a 2006 meeting in the country.
The image was taken in the East Texas town of Tyler at the intersection of Loop 323 and Highway 155 and posted by Reddit user bluchunks.
It is hard to say what's most (or least) impressive about this Texan's use of racism to scream his or her political views at anyone on the road, and now anyone on the Internet.
1) The truck owner's self-censoring of what is presumably the word "ass," but could be "ape," as one Reddit user points out in comments of the post.
"Glad that he censored the word 'ass' otherwise that would have been pretty offensive," one Reddit user noted.
2) The truck owner's proud display of his or her presumed alma mater Stephen F. Austin, although it's a little hard to believe someone who graduated from college would go to these lengths.
"Oh great I went to the same college as this guy...Axe'em Jacks!" another user commented.
3) The use of a prop, in this case banana, to drive home the racist primate reference. Also worth noting is the freshness of the banana. Does this person really buy fresh bananas every few days to update his tailgate?
"Is the banana a racist joke or just for scale?" one Reddit commenter asked.
Reddit, a wretched hive of scum and villainy..
It is a GMC?
Well, that’s certainly racist.
And how does this Reddit poster know that the banana is fresh? This photo was presumably taken in traffic. Did (s)he get out, run up to the tailgate and touch it, lol?
Knowing a bit about vehicle graphics, I question the whole thing as a hoax. Look at the chrome/plastic vehicle name and “GMC.” That’s a pretty elaborate wrap installation or airbrushing. Someone presumably went to a fair amount of trouble and expense. Applications of custom tailgate graphics of which I’m aware avoid those areas entirely due to complexity of installation.
A Photoshop hoax would just mask it off and add fake highlights.
Oops. I realize, suddenly, using the phrase "some people," or even "people" is undoubtedly racist to someone, somewhere.
Oh, well. There's always that fool-proof formula for avoiding controversy: Do nothing, say nothing, be nothing.
It clearly says, “Socialist a**” not “black a**”.
some one please post one of the MANY picture the left has of bush calling him the CHIMP !
Sorry blacks, turn about is fair play! Not everything is about racism, some times, it’s just mocking!
The truth is racist.
No. The most racist decals ever were the ones that the Democratic Party came up with in the late 1800s through the 1960s. Sayings like “This is a White Man’s Country, Let White Men Rule” or “Segregation Now, Segregation Forever.”
This is so freakin ridiculous. One person has one bumpersticker and the press goes ape__it over it. Whereas the Dems, as an institution, regularly engage in Racism. Prior to the 1960s, it was pro-white racism. Now, its anti-white racism.
I think it’s mostly white granola eaters who are whining about racism. White guilt, and all that.
They probably put the banana on the sticker to commemorate the Royal Rump ... don't ya think?
That was my question, too.
The banana probably references Moochelle’s infamous school lunch dictats
Love it!!
Oh boo hoo, boo hoo
“Kolton”?? Nice name, kid. Are you a Junior this year? Got your driver’s license yet?
Because Liberals never made fun of Bush. /s
What does that sign have to do with race?
Everything that doesn't flatter the mongrel Obama is racist.
Ain’t that First Amendment something ? .....
