considering Rasmussen Reports shifted mightily leftwards after they ousted Scott.....this is probably worse for grimes than it looks.

Her being an overbearing in-your-face bitc# played well for a while but I am sure people grew weary of it after hearing it over and over.

Yep, Rasmussen is the most pro-Obama, pro-democrat poll in the country (if I was Scott, I would demand they change the name), every other major poll in the nation has Obama's approval underwater anywhere from 8 to 18 points, but Rasmussen consistently has him even or down less than five.

Alison Dunderhead Grimes is a clueless ditz. Turtle couldn’t have dreamed of a better opponent.

I wonder about any poll coming from Rasmussen since Scott left, but this one is probably pretty close to reality. They routinely show Obama polling close to 50% approval when every other poll has him around 40% or so. It’s weird.

Celebrating a Mitchie Poo win is the last thing I would expect on Free Republic.

This country is so screwed...not because of Obama

But idiots on here who think this man holds any value to America at all.

Quite frankly, you all should be democrats least you would have an excuse.

Grimes is a disaster

The dems are getting as awful as the 'pubs have been at selecting candidates. It's a real race to the bottom, except for a handful of constitutional conservatives.

Well considering this was the cycle they could have taken out McConnell and they blew it bigtime, he was on his knees with a guilotine above his head and they still missed.

Point taken, but it does not change the fact that he will stab conservatives in the back each and every time his Chamber of Commerce Masters want him to.

Healthy sign that this race is pretty solid in the GOP column. Now they need to move money to the NC, GA, and NH races.

oh indeed, i’m just amazed how the Dems missed one of the easiest kills of the election cycle. Its like missing a touchdown line wider than the grand canyon.

I’m always pleased when a Democrat is defeated. Always. Conservatives who think otherwise ought to examine how the world works.

“I’d rather have a bunch of do nothing clowns obstructing Obama’s destruction of America than giving Obama a free pass to destroy us”

If only others would be as sensible as you are, we wouldn’t even have Obama as president...

Too bad there are so many who want to burn down the village “to save it”.

Best outcome: McConnell wins, and Cruz ends up Majority Leader in the Senate.

If the GOPe takes the Senate, McConnell is going to be King of the Senate and he will work hard to isolate the conservatives.

you're the reason we have turds like Mitch McConnell and Boehner in leadership positions that move the party constantly left.

You give them excuses and you give them cover.

You're not a Conservative first, you are a Karl Rove Republican who practices tribal politics, not principled politics.

If the GOP is to return to Reagan Policies, it will be because compromisers such as your self, no longer have any impact.

Alison Dunderhead Grimes is a clueless ditz. .

She should have run in Pennsylvania (any resemblance to Bob Casey being purely intentional)

I guess the definition of RINO has changed in recent years.

Last I checked, McConnell had a lifetime ACU rating of 96%.

Is he perfect? No. Of course not.

But say he is a Republican in name only is perfectly absurd.

There are those on here hoping Pat Roberts in Kansas goes down. The man has been one of the most conservative senators in Washington DC for many years.

Someone ran to the right of Roberts so now some on here feel that it’s okay that he lose to a liberal? I cannot reason with some of these people.

Also, I doubt we would have Obamacare and Harry Reid right now if the tea party express hadn’t supported Sharron Angle and Christine O’Donnell. Yeah, we really won there.

I hope every democrat loses. Conservatives need to win in the primary or go home.
