Leadership: In a telephone press briefing, the CDC director repeated that you can't get Ebola by sitting next to someone on a bus, but infected or exposed people should avoid public transit because they might transmit it. Huh?
During the Wednesday conference call with reporters, Centers for Disease Control director Tom Frieden was asked if he or anyone else at the CDC had vetted a videotaped message posted on U.S. embassy websites that showed President Obama saying you couldn't get Ebola by sitting next to someone on a bus, while the CDC's own guidelines advised those with symptoms or a high risk of exposure should avoid public transportation.
Frieden said the video had been vetted and was accurate despite the obvious conflict.
Perhaps he should rethink this example of the often inaccurate and bad advice that's come out of the CDC, like that given to Amber Vinson, the Dallas nurse who treated the Ebola-infected Liberian national Thomas Duncan.

I saw that on a video so it must be true, just ask Susan Rice, and Hillary!
The bovine excrement is piling higher and higher. Before long, the pile of bodies will be even higher.
Can you give it while talking to people? Can you give while shopping in the market?
He’d better find out if you can get it under a bus pretty soon....
These people are crass...and, IMHO, evil. They believe they can say anything and it will be accepted as they proceed with the destruction of this nation.
Frieden should have been sacked after his first interview.
Yesterday, I heard Dr. Gil Molby on the radio today. He is a board certified, trained emergency trauma physician with three decades of acute care experience. He currently practices medicine in Springfield, MO and Seattle, WA. In his home town of Springfield, he was voted Springfield’s Best Physician Comments about him inlcued, “He’s a doctor known by most people for his daily radio program where he often tackles topics that trigger water cooler chatter,” and “He’s a Dav...id in the world of medical Goliath’s.” Currently he is passionately involved in the Ebola outbreak and its potential dire consequences if not handled and addressed properly.
He has been warning for weeks that the potential for a major outbreak in the United states is much more possible than we are being told, and that this administration’s current practise on dealing with the disease, their statements on how it spreads, and on the administrtion not seeking to quarantine the outbreak to West Afirca with travel restrictions and closures is almost assuring that a far worse outbreak will occur. Right now, Dr. Molbey could be characterized as leading the fight to insist on full disclosure by the CDC, and protect American citizens on American soil and abroad from this dangerous disease.
Today he indicated that he spoke with a well known and respected Epidemiologist whom he aksed how we might go about preventing a major spread to the United States at this point. Dr. Molbey indicated that this individual, soberly replied, “Gil, I fear it is already too late to do so.”
Dr. Molby has set up a site on the web called, “Surviving Ebola.” I urge all my family, loved ones, friends and neighbors to go there and educate yourself on how to be as best prepared as possible in the event of a major outbreak across this nation. I pray we can yet avoid it, but being prepared is the best course of action. Also...I urge everyone to pray to God in Heaven for His help. Please visit this site and learn how to protect yourself and others, from getting Ebola, and what you can do in your everyday life to limit the possibility of coming in contact with this deadly disease

Here’s an article about how the CDC is not giving us the right information:

That’s about as stupid a statement as one can spew.
They are lying through their false teeth. Last night was visiting granddaughter at Tampa General Hospital. I asked her “black” nurse if they are being trained on Ebola. She was “grinning” saying absolutely NOTHING, NADA, ZILCH!!!

If you ride the bus with him you run the risk of getting the “HOMO” virus!!!
Brak Ubama spokesliar ping.
Just about as stupid as claiming you can stop Ebola by by taking temperatures at five airports.
Duct tape warning ... wrap head before reading.
I ‘hate’ to do it BUT I will give the idiot the ‘benefit of the doubt here’.
I am sure he meant -—AND in his feeble mind -— to say
The odds of the passenger sitting on the bus next to you may have ebola, are phenomenally infinite but you still should be ‘careful’ and if infected, shouldn’t ride public transit.
Now THAT makes a scintilla of sense but these idiots think they are so much smarter etal than the rest of us that if they Don’t cross their T’s and dot their I’s, they are certainly going to get pounced upon.
It all goes back to the root that BO thinks he is the most intelligent man to walk the planet and he has to ensure NO ONE of his underlings even has a chance of outshining him so he deliberately hires them that are dumber.
Best example is Biden. I rest my case.
But I guess Biden makes the perfect ‘White Whipping Boy’ and front for BO...Biden definitely makes BO look smarter than him.
How bad we have become....
At my grandsons baseball game last night and one of his teammates either went to a dance or had been to a wedding and showed up around the 4th inning decked out in a Tuxedo.
I saw the kid and he wore it well and really did look dignified.
Mentioned to the parent next to me....”You know, if that were your son or my grandson or most anyone on that team, we would have greeted him with how nice he looked in his ‘Monkey Suit’ (at least till recently a Tux was a ‘monkey suit’)
However, had to remain silent with this lad as he is the only Black kid on the team (guess it is Racist that I ‘noticed’ that) and his Mother is Black and his Father White. (guess it is Racist that I ‘noticed’ that)
Nice family, polite (guess it is Racist that I ‘noticed’ that) etc etc etc, appears - at least in our setting - to have no ax to grind ....
Ok let me ask a layman's question: If you can transmit it on a bus, but nobody catches it, who are you transmitting it to? I guess I could never work for this regime, that's some advanced spin.
These are the requirements for a Bio-Safety Level 4 facility:
Now that the virus is "in the wild" why are CDC et al being so cavalier about the risks?
BSL-4
BSL-4 builds upon the containment requirements of BSL-3 and is the highest level of biological safety. There are a small number of BSL-4 labs in the United States and around the world. The microbes in a BSL-4 lab are dangerous and exotic, posing a high risk of aerosol-transmitted infections. Infections caused by these microbes are frequently fatal and without treatment or vaccines. Two examples of microbes worked with in a BSL-4 laboratory include Ebola and Marburg viruses.
In addition to BSL-3 considerations, BSL-4 laboratories have the following containment requirements:
Laboratory practices
- Change clothing before entering.
- Shower upon exiting.
- Decontaminate all materials before exiting.
Safety equipment
- All work with the microbe must be performed within an appropriate Class III BSC , or by wearing a full body, air-supplied, positive pressure suit.
Facility construction
- The laboratory is in a separate building or in an isolated and restricted zone of the building.
- The laboratory has dedicated supply and exhaust air, as well as vacuum lines and decontamination systems.

FRIEDen also said that women who use public toilets don’t have to put toilet paper on the seats to avoid Ebola.
