Administration supporters raise a stink that Obama’s (VERY Liberal) nominee for Surgeon General languishes without approval, blaming the “partisan” Republicans; but wouldn’t it be prudent to have a list of qualified candidates available in case your initial choice didn’t go through?
Besides the fact that Obama selects strictly political hacks (typically women) to fill these positions, his massive narcissism can’t get past the point where someone would dare deny him even the first time… Plus, it makes for good political theater to have your candidate dangling in the wind & be able to blame the other side for all your woes.
