Health care workers treating Thomas Eric Duncan in a hospital isolation unit didnt wear protective hazardous-material suits for two days until tests confirmed the Liberian man had Ebola a delay that potentially exposed perhaps dozens of hospital workers to the virus, according to medical records.
The 3-day window of Sept. 28-30 is now being targeted by investigators for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as the key time during which health care workers may have been exposed to the deadly virus by Duncan, who died Oct. 8 from the disease.

Liberian man lied.
I remember when Universal Precautions were introduced. It seemed to me it was just a scam invented by lawyers to shift the blame for a tragedy onto the worker at the bedside.
Yes we are thanks to Eboma.
F'n regular geniuses, the CDC are.
He did but not the second time there. This two day period was after he was admitted.
1980 AIDS scare all over again.
We are going to see a great number of those workers get this terrible virus. The pressure to stop the flights from West africans is now white hot.
Be thankful it was only 2 days. Many of the tests are being sent to the TX State Health Dept. Check out their website:

After hours receipt of samples is temporarily unavailable. All packages transported through a courier (FedEx, UPS, LoneStar Overnight) will be accepted during regular business hours. Specimens submitted to Greyhound Bus Station-Austin will be picked up by laboratory staff as usual. Hand-delivered samples will be accepted only during regular business hours Monday - Friday (7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.) until further notice.
Speaking of tests, his lab work was sent through the hospital’s tube system. Whatever it’s called. Like how your money goes whooosh through the tube
from your bank’s outside drive thru to the inside tellers. That might be why the hospital was all but locked down a couple days ago. Is it back open?
how’s that?
Yeah. I just read a tweet from Quest Diagnostics that they are refusing all blood tests involving Ebola patients for the virus or other.
Just saw the second nurse’s picture. She African American. Thanks to Jesse James no wonder they are flying her to Atlanta.
This place must be run by the PCUSA. No one else could be this stupid.
Wonder when the Ferguson Freaks will start to use Ebola as a race card...”Hands up!...Don’t shoot...I have Ebola!”
epic fail is an understatement
Third world-ers don’t get on airplanes as often as we do.
HORRIBLY reckless and irresponsible...............we’ve got this......right.
“All packages transported through a courier (FedEx, UPS, LoneStar Overnight)...”
Packages get damaged, stuff gets broken, things get lost....that’s a frightening thought.
