The New York Times...details U.S. forces in Iraq finding thousands of chemical weapons during the Iraq war. "From 2004 to 2011...troops repeatedly encountered, and on at least six occasions were wounded by, chemical weapons remaining from years earlier in Saddam Husseins rule," "In all, American troops secretly reported finding roughly 5,000 chemical warheads

In my view, they set up a system where with no political parties Americans elected electors, and they elected a president. That is called a republic.
Amen and amen.
What I want to know is why weren't these weapons all destroyed, if we had that many troops in Iraq supposedly doing just that?
LOL
absolutely
Blaming is not the solution as we both clearly see!
...and getting rid of RINO’s is a bridge too far, for a majority of red states as well as some blue.
and as long as there are united democrats, the idea that the word principle has much to do with anything leaves principled people at the mercy or their tyrants.
Now I’m an hour late and have to go.
I remember the reporting of WMD found, but it was reported each time, well this was from previous wars etc
I remember always wondering why that meant nothing, but I remember the reports of WMD found, but it was always added...oh these are from years ago and not current
That`s how it was sold by the MSM
This story is really not new

No of course it’s not. But it is what has to happen as the first step to a solution.
Everyone bitches when Democrats skate without blame. Then they should place blame and make it stick. Dem, Republican or anything else.
Hear hear.
I’d rather string up so-called journalists and east/west coast pundits before I march onto the Capitol steps.
They all enjoy (enjoyed) their perks. None of them (few exceptions) doing their jobs.
Though it was always wierd to me that the Bush admin didn't go around tooting its own horn on this. But then, nothing about the GOP's tactical decisions at the time made sense. Maybe you're exactly right--this was a planned handover of power to the Dems to get certain agendas pushed through. It's disheartening, but it certainly fits the known facts.

This was around in July of 2008. US removes Yellow Cake from Iraq. NBC News.com..
There has never been any doubt that his father was a full-fledged, card-carrying member of the GOP establishment.
And a former CIA director.
This is the DNC’s backdoor way into blaming Bush if Obama’s “JV team” stumbles on a chemical weapons stockpile and uses it.
Democrats — it’s always someone else’s fault.
So I looked at Rubio’s ACU rating and it was 100%. Maybe down a bit since he went Amnesty on us. If I understand correctly, unless you score a 100% on the ACU, you are a liberal Republican. I would probably go under 90% since as the minority party, things such as justice votes and “we won't win regardless so might as well vote on the rat bill to get the Gibmedat’s for our constituency” are throwaways.
I think it is wrong comparing someone like McConnell (89%) to Durbin(8%) and calling McConnel a liberal. Do I disagree on many of McConnel’s positions? Sure do. However on something as important as Coal, whose vote do you want, McConnel's or Grimes? What we do know is McCain, Snow, Murkowski and a couple of others who vote with the rats 60-70% of the time shouldn't be there, period. Then we have 5-10 who are 95%-100% Conservatve votes, then everyone else. The everyone else goes where the wind is blowing.
Work all the campaigning Mitch did against things he eventually ‘correctly’ on. then see if they passed. Then rerun that 80% number and tell me if the numbers add up.
He’s a POS liberal.
NYT, after a decade of pissing on GWB now has to explain this Headline:
Gruesome photos may show ISIS using chemical weapons on Kurds, report says
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/3214671/posts
It would be ironic if Obama puts boots on the ground to get rid of this very old stuff that Bush's Pentagon kept secret. But if you do a very shallow search you can find all of this:

http://www.news.com.au/world/breaking-news/iraq-sarin-stockpiles-found/story-e6frfkui-1111112124958
Now the NYT has to spin this:

Thats good news.
I was worried somebody might to be blame for the murder of four Americans, including the US ambassador to Libya, in a poorly secured compound that was supposed to be protected by a terrorist militia that wasnt actually being paid in the middle of a city run by terrorists after support forces were repeatedly told not to come to the aid of the Americans under attack.
Also nobody is to blame for claiming that the whole thing was caused by a YouTube video.
But its all nobodys fault. Thats such a relief. We should just MoveOn and elect Hillary to do for American national security what she did for it in Benghazi. Just ask the CIA Director/Secretary of Defense/Hillary 2016 man who was in a position to know.
I like how this comes out during wall to wall 0bola coverage when no one will notice.
There was very little material support given to Iraq during their war with Iran. Mostly what we gave them was analysis of where to hit Iran so as to disrupt their economy and war-fighting ability.
We weren’t really supporting Iraq, we were encouraging and enabling both iraq and Iran to expend themselves.
