Political strategist Dick Morris accused Hillary Clinton of conspiring with former Defense Secretary Leon Panetta in his stinging critique of President Obama's foreign policy.
"I think Hillary put him up to it,” Morris said during an interview on John Catsimatidis's radio show to air Sunday on New York's 970 AM.
“What Panetta is doing is a hit – a contract killing – for Hillary. Panetta at core is a Clinton person, not an Obama person. By accurately and truthfully describing the deliberations in the [Obama] cabinet, he makes Hillary look better, and he makes Obama look worse … And I think he’ll get his reward in heaven.”

There has always been a Clinton/Kennedy rift in the Democrat Party and Obama is the Kennedy proxy who would not have won the nomination back in 2008 without the Old Lyin Of The Senate’s endorsement. Uncle Ted was saying “game on” to his allies to support Obama instead of Hillary.
The Clinton have bade their time waiting for the opportunity to take the party back and these are among the first salvos.

Might be true, but I'm not sure how what he said is good for Hillary. She was out there front and center blaming Benghazi on protests against a video - and stuck hard and fast to that story. Panetta said he knew from the beginning it was a terrorist attack. So how does this make her look good? Panetta may just be trying to preserve his own ‘brand’, as he sees this administration sinking.

People need to be reminded that Hillary not only supported ebolobama, but she worked for him. Democrats have to held accountable for foisting him on this country. They are all responsible not just ebolobama.

Old trick. Making him look credible, and then his support for her. People fall for it. Can’t blame them. They are working hard looking for some credibility in this government of ours, and along comes Hillary/Leon with this trick.

You may be right. It seemed that one of the Clinton strategies to discredit their opposition was to issue false leaks that they could then refute. They are at best, deceitful.
The best strategy to stop this kind of approach is to tell the public they are going to do it - before they do it.
Panetta is a Democrat party man. He does as he is told to do by the party, and is rewarded for his loyalty. He lives well.
The best chance “The Party” has since they blew their wad so to speak with their current act is always first, and foremost tied to their alliance with the Leftist news media , and then a celebrity figure. In this case it’s the Clinton’s again.
In anticipation of the question as to how Obama beat out Hillary in 2008 I believe it was punishment of the Clinton’s by the party for serving themselves first, and putting the party as second in their co administration. The Clinton’s have been working hard to regain the trust of the party since, thus all the attention to Obama, and now it’s time to declare him a failure, and promise the American people a better future with the experience Obama did not have regardless of Hillary’s lack of experience at anything but charades.
They need credibility to overcome her tenure in the Obama administration, thus Panetta has been called upon to save the day. You will see many more such figures other than Panetta, but all tied to the Democrats in the near future as they gear up to run Hillary for POTUS.
