West Africa produces nearly three-quarters of the world's cocoa -- with the nations of Ivory Coast and Ghana responsible for 60 percent of that supply. And while Ebola has not yet appeared in those two nations, their proximity to Liberia, Guinea and Sierra Leone -- the current epicenters of the Ebola outbreak -- have led to concerns that any continued spread of the disease could also cause a major disruption in cocoa production, and another spike in world cocoa prices.

We are too politically correct to protect world chocolate supplies, so once it hits the ivory coast all chocolate will be suspect. We won’t even protect ourselves, much less chocolate.
Millions will die, many more will go insane! Women will be having PMS unchecked by chocolate. The murder rate will soar. Without chocolate, ugly people will be having sex and children. All of civilization could come crashing down.

yep...my wife fixes us hot cocoa almost nightly. Hot water and “scraped” cocoa. A little sugar.

You do realize that the cocoa in “European Chocolate” comes from Africa and South America, don’t you?
South America and Central America area also suppliers of cocoa.
The big difference is in the specs. Less chocolate required in our chocolate for one thing.
