Former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie made dueling pitches Thursday in Pennsylvanias race for governor, appealing to voters in a state that could factor into potential 2016 presidential campaigns.
Clinton implored Pennsylvania Democrats to back Tom Wolfs gubernatorial campaign in large numbers, warning against complacency despite his large lead in the polls against Republican Gov. Tom Corbett. You never know what can happen in an election, she said. [ ]
The governors race served as a backdrop for Clinton and Christie, who secured exposure in a state likely to be an important trophy in any 2016 party nomination or general election contest. Both have been filling their schedules with appearances around the country for gubernatorial and Senate candidates on the ballot this fall.

Anyone dumb enough to listen to anything Slick Willie’s wife says really should knock off the recreational drugs for a while.
Or “weight” in the case of Krispy Kreme.
Christie’s lending nothing to Corbett except his hot air.
Ugly and fat, what a combination! They should share a ticket and stay in New Jersey.
Who’s side is Christie on?
IF Corbett wins you know it’s a tidal wave. He has been a weak governor and worse candidate.
The Democrat Wolf will be a disaster. He intends to tax the suburbs to put the money into the Philadelphia school system.
Christie and Clinton on the stump: Two more reasons for me to vote Libertarian in the PA Gov race.
Christies lending nothing to Corbett except his hot air.
Well he can’t hurt. I predict this will be the first election called and it will be a huge win for Wolfe. I actually think we are going to do very well this election but we will lose Pennsylvania huge.
Wait, wait ... Christie has clout? That’s amusing.
Corbett’s been running a really entertaining ad for the last week or so - six or seven “voters” looking at the camera and saying things like “When it comes to a choice of paying for my kids’ education and paying higher taxes, I’ll take higher taxes every time” and “ I hope Wolf keeps his promise to raise the sales tax - things are just too cheap in the stores these days” - unusually thought- provoking for a political ad and fun to watch - whether or not it will help Corbett close the deal - probably not enough.....
Too many Tom Wolf ads on the local channels in NEPA. Creepiest one was with him and the schoolkids in the classroom; practically screamed “indoctrination”.
The only “gravitas “ Chris Christie has is when he steps on a scale.
