What's the prescription for this man's frustrating, fruitless quest to find a doctor on his Obamacare plan? Going to court.
A Yale Law grad is suing a New York insurer, claiming that the $620.69-per-month health plan he bought failed miserably in its promise that its website would be available to help him find a primary care physician "anytime."
"Sadly, nothing could be further from the truth," said Jon Fougner's lawsuit against Empire BlueCross BlueShield.
Fougner, who filed the case himself, said that after he looked on Empire's site for doctors near him who were accepting new patients, it listed 30 physicians. But he soon found problems with all of those doctors, who either didn't take the Empire plan, weren't taking new patients, had disconnected numbers, had incorrect numbers listed or didn't call him back.

Bump
Just the beginning of the whole Marxist horror story that is are the yet-to-be-unfolded parts and lies of Obamacare.
I guess it’s not relevant, but I’m curious why a Yale Law grad couldn’t find a job?
Because there are no jobs for inexperienced young people that pay well?
Educated beyond his intelligence? Too many lawyers?
> Student Loan default and IRS audit in 3 ... 2 ... 1.
You know it. And he’s not the only guy saying this by a long shot. I hear it from people I talk to pretty often. They were forced to drop their insurance plan and enroll in Obamacare. Now half of the physicians don’t take it because they can’t make a living and maintain a doctor’s office with the table scraps they get from the insurance companies. Seems the insurance companies and the money changers (fed gov) are the only ones making any money in the process...
I didn’t read the whole article but did it say he could not find a job? It did say he was paying more than $600 in premiums didn’t it?
Lots of jobs that pay well for inexperienced young people. It’s too bad the jobs are mostly blue collar.
Will this affect how the gentleman will vote next month?

He is a Yale grad.
Believes in Obama and climate change.
The article didn’t say but considering Yale is one of the top five law schools in the country it’s very unusual he doesn’t have a job that offers health insurance.
Or perhaps he was given wise counsel and told: “Go pick a fight.”
A review of his background suggests he is a legal contractor. If that is the case, then he is a in a PS structure and opted to buy his own plan which is reported as a platinum plan through Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield.
He is suing because the insurer is running a scam.
Sure he could get himself a government job in Manhattan but looking at his background and publications he appears to be aiming higher.
“If you can find your doctor, you can keep your doctor.”
Yale is usually number one and is always in the top two.
There is a wonderful silliness about the whole rankings issue.
You have the Top Three, the Top Five, the Top Ten, and the Top Fifteen.
Lately, students from Cornell have begun to refer to the Top Thirteen. Why? Because the law schools at the 14th and 15th spot sometimes change, while the Top Thirteen are always in the Top Fifteen.
... If you can find your doctor, you can keep your doctor. ...
Well played!
can the suit be converted to a class action lawsuit?
