“My guess is the guy was clinically dead already. They were probably using him like a lab rat to test those new anti virals.”
I bet you are correct. I noted that the announcements regarding experimental treatments were not mentioned until after the Reuters report on Sunday that he had died.

If they have it, they will have symptoms soon. If they don’t show symptoms in the next few days, then they mostly likely don’t have it.

Can you give us a Reader’s Digest version...so we don’t have to click on the CDC link? Thanks.

A friend of mine told me that some who die from Ebola come back to life. So I wouldn’t give up just yet.

We knew he was in rough shape when they put him on kidney dialysis....evidenced major organs being attacked....
Family sad today but law suites coming....unfortunately.

We need to keep an incubation countdown roster for this (and other potential) exposure(s).

He was unconscious, on life support and his kidneys had failed days ago. I suspect Mr. Duncan has left this world for good.

Watching nbc - in hospital - so nice, the government will give people who arrive each day from Ebola infested countries a little card. It will tell them what to do if they come down with Ebola. We are all safe. Thank you obama.

I bet everyone who was living in the Apt. he was visiting also has Obola.
Wasn't there a post here yesterday about a step-daughter who was a nurse that was given the "all clear"?

It has ceased to be. It’s expired and gone to meet its maker. It’s a stiff. Bereft of life, it rests in peace. If you hadn’t nailed it to the perch, It’s rung down the curtain and joined the choir invisible.

I prefer to believe that as mortal danger increases the brain shuts all that is absolutely necessary down. When the brain shuts the kidneys down, it is pretty much all over in spite of dialysis.
