I believe your theory is correct. I cannot imagine the Israeli news service reporting the ebola death unless it were true. Ebola Tommy was most likely dead two days ago as reported by the Israeli news, kept alive on life support until the FedGov could figure out how to spin this - and remind us that “there is NOTHING to worry about.”

Really at what POINT of symptoms would infectiousness begin. no one is going to know that, I realize. But you could just be feeling crappy but not full on SICK yet and who knows if it’s kicked in to become infectious. I feel that the panic level will rise if/when the first contact comes down with symptoms.

The symptoms are proportional to the amount of virus in your blood. The virus infects easily so a few viruses and no symptoms is a danger, but a low probability danger.
