President Barack Obama has issued a statement on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, which commemorates the Muslim belief that Abraham was willing to sacrifice to God his son Ishmael (rather than Isaac, as related in the Old Testament).
“Michelle and I would like to extend our best wishes to Muslims in the United States and around the world who are celebrating Eid al-Adha, and to congratulate those performing the Hajj [pilgrimage to Mecca] this year,” he said.
“As our Muslim neighbors and friends gather for Eid celebrations, Muslim Americans are among the millions of pilgrims joining one of the world’s largest and most diverse gatherings,” he continued. “Hajj brings together Muslims from around the world – Sunni and Shiite – to share in reverent prayer, side by side. It serves as a reminder that no matter one’s tribe or sect, race or religion, gender or age, we are equals in humanity.”
“On Eid, Muslims continue the tradition of donating to the poor and joining efforts with other faith communities in providing assistance to those suffering from hunger, sickness, oppression, and conflict,” he added. “Their service is a powerful example of the shared roots of the world’s Abrahamic faiths and how our communities can come together in shared peace, with dignity and a sense of justice.”
The president concluded, “On behalf of the American people, we extend our warmest greetings during this holiday. May the prayers of peace made by the Hajj pilgrims and those of all faiths around the world be heard and granted. Eid Mubarak [blessed Eid].”

But didn't Mohammed do everything that ISIS has done -- raiding villages, kidnapping, rapes, mass murders and beheadings, forced conversions, selling woman and young girls into slavery?
So please, somebody tell me what ISIS is doing that Mohammed himself -- the wretched, bloodthirsty murderer and child rapist -- didn't condone and exemplify through his own orders and actions? How is ISIS different?
And by the way, if any of you ever happen to be at an Obama press conference, or interviewing a member of his administration or a CAIR spokesman, maybe you can ask that question.
I would really like to hear the answer.

Someone is missing a whole bunch of a happy meal. I fail to see how any prayer can be reverent, with two groups dedicated to the destruction of one another. Right after prayer they will be at one another’s throats as they have been for centuries.
As for Isaac and Ishmael...
I missed the part where the prez criticizes the Saudis for not letting muslims from West Africa go on the hadjj this year.

I travelled through Morocco during Eid. And yes, I saw beheaded goats. They roast the heads and eat the brains ... then the kids kick the skulls around like soccer balls. I also saw rent-a-butchers standing on street corners wearing bloody clothes and waving big bloody knives advertising their services. Apparently not everyone has the skills to cut up their own goat.
Just weird.
Yet denounces Christianity by his actions every chance he gets - pushing legislation to advance homo rights and same sex marriage, having his Justice Department bully Christians for not serving the homo’s needs when it goes agannst their beliefs, forcing businesses to provide abortion aids to employees, won’t demand the release of Christian captives being held in Muslim countries, won’t allow soldiers to have bibles, and omits God in the Pledge of Allegiance, for starters and to top it off, pretended to be a Christian to get elected. Surely practicing Taqiyya there. The man is a hardcore Muslim and hates Christians and Jews in particular being the first presdent to remove his support or Israel.
Yet the 47 % are blind as a bat to this.
