True, or even longer than 21. But most cases become symptomatic after 5-6 days. However those stats come from Africa and it might be longer for first world residents.

It’s Verrry well established that the US government is totally full of consummate liars —notice how many times these days the really sensitive stories end up reported by British papers instead of our own.
it is time to ask yourself this question:
which government government is more worthy of trust? Of Spain or that of the USA..?
I am an American patriot but I am sorry to say just now the answer is probably Spain.
It is almost a certainty that we are not being told the whole truth about Dallas.
how many more are there..?

In agree we aren’t being told the truth about Dallas. It would be hard to hide a major outbreak. But it wouldn’t be hard to hide what was never a potential outbreak.

British TV interviewing Staff outside the hospital, a lot of them are refusing to go into work until they are explained how this has happened, can you blame them?
Another patient who has just arrived is just off a plane from Nigeria........stop them flying.

Is that so? Do you have any numbers or source for that?

Under the least pressing circumstances our Prez can be relied on to lie about 95% of what he says.
With an Afrocentrist Prez fighting fear about an African disease and the Midterm Wave freaking 30 days away, would that reduce, enhance, or keep his lying penchant the same?
We all know the answer.

I agree, though he may give in to political pressure if put upon him by those in his party, especially if other countries are more proactive on the issue. But we little peons have no voice with him.

But most cases become symptomatic after 5-6 days. Here's my prediction. With flu season on the horizon, and the symptoms of Ebola being a fever and somewhat flu-like, the emergency rooms and doctor's office simply won't be able to respond; especially in areas where Ebola has been present, or near international airports. This is going to either cause false positives, which will incur and tie up resources, to missing actual cases of Ebola.
Even more disturbing is this lackadaisical attitude that is surrounding Ebola and the various diseases now entering the U.S.

I read somewhere that if they get this in India it is game over...I'm a lot more concermmed about Mexico City.
Open borders and we've been telling the whole world this is the place to be if you come down with Ebola.

This is NOT what the Sky News website
says. It says (as of 0731 EDT 10/7/14) that the husband and 3 others are quarantined and under observation. There are, as of now, ZERO secondaries in Spain.

Husband of Spanish nurse who contracted Ebola is among FOUR in hospital as it is revealed she complained of symptoms a week ago but was ignored
.............."It's also since emerged that a week before she tested positive for Ebola she had contacted health workers to complain of a fever and fatigue, telling them she had helped treat two priests who contracted Ebola in Africa and were repatriated to Spain.
But it wasn't until she went to her local hospital on Monday that she was finally admitted and tested for the virus. "........
.........."But last night staff at the Carlos III hospital where she worked claimed the protective suits they were given were not good enough.
Unnamed sources told Spanish daily El Pais the suits did not meet World Health Organisation standards.
They said the suits they were issued with were permeable and lacked breathing apparatus."................
..............."Dr Ben Neuman, Lecturer in Virology, University of Reading, said: 'Nurses face a problem in that a person who is sick with Ebola can make quite a lot of highly infectious waste, as the patient loses fluid through diarrhoea and vomiting. Those bodily fluids can contain millions of Ebola viruses, and it only takes one to transfer the infection.
'The protective suits that Ebola workers wear provide excellent protection, but there is a danger when it is time to take the suit off. It is also possible that a tiny amount of Ebola-containing liquid splashed on the protective garments, and then was transferred to her skin while removing the protective clothing. "................

The articles say that three (not four) exposed people are quarantined. They are using the hospital as a quarantine site. It does not say that they have contracted Ebola.
