The Koch Brothers are the cause of Quiznos spongmonkeys, badly behaved Colonels, Boris Badenov, and the shipwreck of the Minnow. The Koch Brothers are the cause of failed sitcoms, knots you cannot get undone, overly-rare hamburgers at restaurants, and Miley Cyrus.

That’s actually a fascinating article. While the tone is tinfoil hat conspiracist, it does point out that it’s pollution totals are a function of their being one entity buying up inefficient companies which produce large amounts of pollution. They then bring in technological improvements and grow the businesses - and the article doesn’t seem to hint that the pollution gets worse while under the Kochs, aside from allusions about Fracking and greenhouse gases.
Harry was not just the financial springboard for the Koch dynasty, he was also its wellspring of far-right politics. Harry editorialized against fiat money, demanded hangings for “habitual criminals” and blasted Social Security as inviting sloth. At the depths of the Depression, he demanded that elected officials in Washington should stop trying to fix the economy: “Business,” he wrote, “has always found a way to overcome various recessions.”
Hmmm.
You take most of the flak over the target. Its good to know the Koch brothers are having an effect.
I found that with close reading both this article and the follow-up revealed the Koch’s to be astute businessmen with high ethical standards who have been quite successful despite government overreach bordering (and sometimes crossing) the boundaries of legality.

I find this whole “Koch” issue hilarious, and very indicative of both Beltway and Media thinking. No one outside the Beltway gives a rip about the Koch brothers. But that doesn’t stop the Beltway crowd (and their accomplices) from trying to convince us that the Kochs are Public Enemy #1.
Really? I thought George Soros already bought the political system.
I suggest the Progressives that despise the Koch Industries’ products burn the products they own. They could start with their own houses that contain GeorgiaPacific products.

As for their capital structure and ownership, I have no idea.
If the Koch Bros donated a hefty sum to the Dems, we’d never be reading about their “horrible” activities.
